14.01.2022 Have you been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia or similar been told there's nothing you could do about it and sent on your way to figure out your own health journey? This was my experience. It was a frustrating and overwhelming feeling that left me with no hope of ever seeing any improvement in my health.... I wish I had had someone who could help me understand my body better, help me understand the importance of a holistic approach and journey with me to understand health information and find treatments that would improve my quality of life. My own journey lead me to explore natural medicine and eventually study Naturopathy and Nutrition. And I LOVE it! I have no magic cure to offer however I am passionate about what Nutrition and Naturopathic Medicine have to offer people with these chronic conditions. SO HOW CAN I HELP YOU? Support you in understanding and establishing foundational health principles and habits. Prioritise systems that need addressing according to your individual needs. Facilitate and advise on functional testing that may bring clarity to what's going on in your body. Empower and educate you to understand your body better and the processes that are occurring. Work with you in a compassionate and respectful environment. Help manage symptoms and co-existing conditions (IBS, painful periods, stress and anxiety, POTS, migraine) using diet, lifestyle, nutritional & herbal medicine. If you would like someone to support you on your health journey, I would love to work with you! For more information please message me or head to my website www.kellik.com.au where you can find out more about consultations, treatments and booking appointments. Kelli xo

06.01.2022 This is your reminder that it’s OK to take time out and rest. You're welcome. We live in a society that glorifies ‘doing’ and being productive. But.. REST IS PRODUCTIVE! When you take time out to rest and relax, it gives your body and mind a chance to process and heal. You’re not designed to be switched on 24/7!... So, no more guilt! I’m off for the next 30mins to read my book with a cup of tea. What will you do today to help your body and mind unwind? Tell me in the comments below and let’s encourage each other to rest!

26.12.2021 Happy New Year! With 2021 now behind us, it's time to look forward as we hope for a year with a bit more freedom, a little less uncertainty and lot less COVID! While this may seem a little far fetched and out of our control at the moment, it is important that we stay focused on the things that we can control and maintain hope of a better future.... Taking charge of our health as best we can is a key part of managing the challenges that we're currently faced with. Have you made any goals and plans for 2022 that will support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing? If not, now's the time! Set your goals, make your plans and perhaps most importantly, find your support team to cheer you on. Wishing you all a year to remember (for all the good reasons)! Kelli xo

18.11.2021 Had a great time speaking at the LifeWell masterclass and Christmas gathering yesterday at the Caledonian Hotel. We explored the role of Naturopathic medicine in an integrative approach to health, followed by a deeper dive into how nutrition influences mental health and the gut-brain connection. Thank you to all those who joined me and for the wonderful feedback! I'm so glad you found it interesting and useful. ... If you have a business or community group that would benefit from learning more about various health topics please get in touch! I LOVE the educational aspect of what I do and I would love to come and share with your people. More info on guest speaking services will be on my website soon!

03.11.2021 These Gingerbread Bliss Balls are the bomb! Deliciously tasty and a little bit fancy..perfect for a Christmas treat. INGREDIENTS... 150g fresh majool dates 3/4 cup raw macadamias 1/2 cup raw cashews 1 tbsp tahini 2 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp cocoa powder 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp mixed spice (optional) A few square of dark (70% plus) chocolate for drizzling DIRECTIONS Remove the pips from the dates and place in a bowl. Cover with warm water and soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Place soaked dates into a food processor along with the rest of the ingredients (except the chocolate squares). Blend until all ingredients are combined and form a thick paste, Mixture should be just sticky enough to hold together but not sticky enough to come off on your hands. Roll spoonfulls together to make balls and place them on a plate or tray. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes. Meanwhile melt the chocolate squares in the microwave or in a bowl over boiling water. I used 4 x 85% lindt chocolate squares. Remove the balls from the freezer and drizzle chocolate over the top using a teaspoon or a fork. Store in the fridge or freezer and enjoy when ready!
