25.01.2022 With a total of 10 days on the market 2 open homes, 9 inspections and multiple offers I was able to sell this 2 bedroom ground floor, unrenovated apartment for a new building record. The owners originally purchased this unit for $517,000. in 2016. With the owners adding no improvements I was able a record price of $580,000. That’s a 12.18% increase over 4 years. That might not sound like much but most of the apartment sales in the building only just break even. ... What sets this apartment block apart from the other woolstores is not only the 3 meter high ceilings/extra storage or the low body corp. The Nouvelle was rebuilt after the 1990 fire and converted into 91 apartments in 2003. The external walls as well as the floors between each level are solid concrete. Which is a huge advantage in the Woolstores, it really helps not only insulate the space but by also sound proof it, which is huge.
