25.01.2022 Every four minutes another Australian is diagnosed with cancer. Today is #daffodilday These two beautiful humans have had their lives turned upside down because of cancer and yet their love, strength & light is unwavering. I got to capture some of this amazingness a little while ago & am so looking forward to seeing them & their girls again soon for some more of this loved-up goodness. But today being #daffodilappeal I wanted to point you to Don and Nicoles HNC Awareness Message Facebook Page ... 22.01.2022 After a big week with my head in the books (some big lessons there), Ive got another big week ahead with my head down finishing my Workbook for Wholehearted: The Art of Marketing for The Quiet Photographer. Then its off to the printer before I start up mentoring with yet another beautiful gentle soul in a few weeks... And icing on the top, seeing some gorgeous returning clients in my upcoming photo sessions.

22.01.2022 The plan was to wait until I got my film scans back, but I couldn't help myself... I did this fun Branding & Content Photo Session with Chloe, a Lifestyle Blogger... writer, dreamer & all round gorgeous human. At the end of the Photo Session we spent a little time just doing some photos to celebrate HER, turning 30! I absolutely loved this session, Chloe gave me her beautiful raw vulnerable self, "I'm not a swim suit model but I love to swim & be in the ocean" "I'm not where... I thought I'd be at 30, married, kids, but here I am & this expensive dress it's mine!"... Chloe, you beautiful woman, you're just getting started, thanks for sharing your heart with me. xx

15.01.2022 Arms full, heart cracked wide open. Kind of exactly how Im feeling. We seemed to have gone from 0 to 100 over here. How about you? I started a Masters of Counselling & Psychotherapy last week, the first area of study is critical self-reflection, the practice of looking inwards before looking outwards. I havent really mentioned before publicly how Im jumping into this, mostly because of fear there will be an assumption that Im leaving this (other) love of mine, photograp...hy. Let it be known I plan to stay & would love for both these curiosities to compliment each other. But the truth is, I cant see a clear path ahead for any of this. I never had, I just felt a pull. I said to hubby before I jumped into this, it felt like a decision between head & heart, he replied well youve always been a heart person so go with that. So for now, Im diving deep, again finding myself with arms full as I follow my heart & curiosities... 08.01.2022 I’m not sure which way is up or down at the moment. But I really am enjoying the ride. What a ride! I’ve been learning so much in my Masters coursework & leaning into my busy with Photography... I am so grateful I get to do both. My cup is feeling wonderfully full. A little update... I am completely full for 2020 (maybe I could squeeze one more in) & am now taking photo bookings for 2021. 04.01.2022 This 'job' is full of rejections, some you don't get past an intro, some you don't get past the price, some come for a little while for the big big moments & then they're gone. I'm sure there's a myriad of reasons as to why, & I'm sure it's not always about me, if I'm honest, sometimes it's hard not to take it personally because every single session to me is a lot of me... but sometimes it just is what it is. And that's ok too. But in all that I also realise how very incredib...ly lucky I am, to see some of my dear clients again & again... And next up, a sneaky peek of *another* gorgeous family who were celebrating their little guys turning the Big One too & have been also been with me since their wedding! Carly & Terry, I'm so very grateful I get to capture these special moments for you, thank you for choosing me again & again. xx

03.01.2022 Im feeling super lucky this year as I have & am getting to see, hangout... & take some photos of so many beautiful returning peeps. Theres something about seeing, hearing & feeling the growth & changes that is probably more rewarding than seeing the photos for me. This photo gig has always been more to me than a snap of a moment in your life. Its always been about hearing your story. Maybe its been a little while or a long while, maybe Ive never had the chance to photograph you... either way, I surely would love to.

03.01.2022 So I had a sneaky little break from posting here. Then just snuck back in like I hadnt. I often do. Im really not someone who has a lot to say... And For the most part Id much rather watch & listen. But Ive also been busy... being a mum, back into study, photographing beautiful humans (still yet to share so much), running a business, doing mentoring sessions & finally... getting my Workbook: Wholehearted the Art of Marketing for The Quiet Photographer ready! And its rea...dy!!! Wholehearted: The Art of Marketing for The Quiet Photographer was born out of my own desire to understand what Marketing really is & how to apply it in a way that felt right to me. When I looked around to seek out Marketing Courses all I was coming across was courses run by people whod never had a photography business, courses that were all about the hard salsey, cheesy, money grabbing strategies and or by people whod done really well by selling primarily to other photographers. And all these courses just didnt seem to fit in with me, my business, my ideal clients & most of all my heart. Ive been offering the 1:1 Mentoring Sessions for sometime now & this year I decided to put together a Workbook that more people could access at a smaller cost. 01.01.2022 Well you all know that I love taking a photo or two hundred haha. But the other thing I love that goes with this photography thing is hearing personal stories of life & love. Some unfortunately are not always the best stories in the best times, while others are stories that just make you think life is incredibly amazing. This little guy has one of the biggest stories I've heard for such a little person. He's already been around the world & back again... And he is so so incredibly loved.
