05.10.2021 Guess what? GROWING UP, I WANTED TO BE A VET! I remember as a kid, I'd spend all my time with my animals... hours in the chicken shed, dressing my cat up, training my dog to show jump like a horse (when I wasn’t pretending to BE a horse ), making nests for my mice and imagining they were all my patients. I thought being a vet was the ultimate goal of life. I never dreamed of becoming a professional photographer but I do remember the day it all became so clear to me; when I ...realized that this is actually what I was meant to do.... It was when my youngest daughter was almost 2 and I had reignited my love of photography. I had taken some photos at a friend’s birthday party and as a result someone asked me to do a family session. It was a combination of the joy and fun during that shoot, the amazing light, the giggles, the family connections and the knowledge that this family now had these beautiful prints and memories on the walls in their home, it was magic and I was hooked!
