23.01.2022 Like most brides to be I went on the usual wedding dress hunt along High Street and at other various boutiques. After I was unable to find a dress that I both l...oved and could afford, I decided to look for a dress maker and am so thankful to have found the very talented Kelly Kuipers. Kelly is the lovliest person you could meet. She is talented, dedicated, honest, passionate and best of all she absolutely LOVES what she does and it shows. After meeting Kelly for the first time, and also seeing some of the beautiful gowns she has made, I knew I wanted her to make my gown. I felt so comfortable and knew I could trust her 100%. The craftsmanship and beauty of her gowns is far better than I had seen at any bridal boutique. Having tried on a countless number of wedding gowns already, not to mention the hundreds, possibly thousands of images I had looked at on pinterest, I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted my dream dress to look like. It wasnt a simple "I like that one"; I liked the skirt from one dress, the bodice of another, the colour of another etc etc. Kelly listened to me and understood exactly where I was coming from. She put it altogether and made my dream dress a reality. Having my wedding gown designed and made from scratch was such a special, memorable experience. It started as a rough sketch and as rolls of fabric, and over numerous fittings, chats and emails with Kelly, piece by piece I saw my DREAM dress become real. It was incredible! Each fitting was so much fun and what makes the experience so special is knowing that my dress is the only one. It is 100% unique, made for me and only me. It is not something you can try on in a shop or order online. With Kelly, you dont just order it and then 6 months later try on the final thing and hope it fits. It is a totally personal experience where you are there at every stage of the dress making process. In the end it is your dress. Your perfect, dream dress. Exactly how you always imagined. Kelly, you are amazing. Thank you so much for not only designing and making my dream dress, but for providing me with such a fun and unique experience to go with it. It really did make my wedding day extra special and I felt simply stunning in my beautiful Candy Floss gown. It is something I will treasure forever. Love and thanks always, Nicole
