24.01.2022 Dear Kelly Sports Geelong families and children, Tom From Kelly Sports here. I am writing to you all to announce my departure from the Geelong manager position at Kelly Sports. After a very positive, enjoyable and busy experience as manager, I have decided to pursue my work and career towards primary school teaching. At the end of last year, I made the decision to step down and had planned to move with my partner to England to teach overseas and travel the world. Due to COVID...-19 and the outbreak across the Globe, we decided not to take the risk and stay in Geelong. I am looking forward to the next step in my career as a primary school teacher. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Kelly Sports as manager. I have loved organising and putting together fun sports programs for your children, in particular the holiday programs which have grown since my time as manager. I have met so many wonderful families at Kelly Sports as well as working with awesome and professional staff who aim to develop a positive experience with physical activity and sport. My aim at the end of each day is achieved when a child tells me they had a great day or when they tell their families a new skill they learnt at Kelly Sports. While the last term and a half has been quiet due to COVID-19, it has given me more time to train and prepare our new regional manager Nick Clydesdale. Nick is very professional, enthusiastic and wants to continue the programs we have created at Kelly Sports. Most of you may have met him already at schools or our most recent Winter Holiday Program. The Kelly Sports Programs across Schools and Kinders as well as our holiday program will continue as normal. In saying that, I will still be coaching at our Holiday Programs as I very much enjoy working with the staff and children during the holidays. You never know, I could one day be a teacher at your child’s school. Thank you to all the families especially for continual support in our programs. We would be no where without our Kelly Sports families and I thank you for your help over the last few years. Thank you, Coach Tom

19.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that our Kelly Sports Summer Holiday Program is back at Geelong Sports Hub!! Our program is online now, ready for bookings!! We ...are also excited to announce that we will be running a pre Christmas holiday program! As school finishes in mid December we are offering a program from Thursday 17th of December until Wednesday 23rd of December (excluding weekends). Our three week January program will start on Monday 4th of January and will finish on Friday 22nd of January. We can’t wait to be back running our programs indoors! Currently the restrictions stand at 20 people inside sports facilities but this is expected to change. We will keep you updated. If you book before Friday 27th of November you can access our Early Bird Special! Geelong Weekend Soccer program: 10:00am to 10:50am Geelong Weekend Basketball program: 11:00am to 11:50am... Both classes age groups 6-9 years old. 08.01.2022 Afternoon everyone! We hope you are all enjoying the sunshine as much as we can today. We would like to provide you with an update on our upcoming Spring Holiday Program. The holidays in mid September are fast approaching and we are still hoping that we can run. As we are still in Stage 3 restrictions, we don't know what the next phase will be and whether we can run a program. ... We are hoping that in the next few weeks we'll have some more information and you'll hear from us as soon as possible. In the meantime, practice good hygiene, social distance from each other and stay healthy :)

03.01.2022 Different location...same old sports! Our Outdoor School Holiday Program has been a hit these holidays at Highton Reserve. Due to the current climate we have been running 1 coach to 10 children with two groups on either end of the oval! ... The coaches and children have enjoyed the change of scenery - more room to move and fresh air! Tomorrow will be a warm one - please make sure the kids have a hat, sunscreen and water bottle
