17.01.2022 Great to see oversubscribed win tonight finally in Hong Kong at happy valley for David Hall and Zac Purton. Bred and sold by Kelly Thoroughbreds and Mark McClen. 17.01.2022 While #Foxwedge’s Gr2 winner Lunar Fox already has the score on the board, he is likely to appreciate slightly further than Saturday’s Gr3 Vain Stakes over 1100...m, with the lure of the Gr1 Caulfield Guineas surely on the radar for his 3YO season. Lunar Fox was sensational when defeating Larmier Street (Brazen Beau) and Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon) in last season’s Gr2 VRC Sires’ Produce Stakes over 1400m at Flemington (footage). That race’s form has been franked with the runner-up successful at Listed level, the third placed colt recording a Gr1 placing, while Holyfield (I Am Invincible) finished down the track before winning at Gr3 level next time out. Prepared by Horsham trainer Paul Preusker Racing, the Jordan Childs-ridden colt will jump from the inside barrier in the nine-horse field where he should be able to get a good run in transit before making his run. 09.01.2022 Great run by Lunar Fox in the 5.5 million dollar all star mile at the Vally yesterday 4th. picked himself up and was running on strong just to miss third by a nose. Awesome effort considering 8 other group 1 winners in the field. Love Jockey Noel Callow comment. Good Horse So proud of this horse he now has earnt of 1 million in prize money. His half sister yearling by frosted will be at the Inglis 2021 gold sale for auction!

04.01.2022 THROWBACK THURSDAY - THRONUM The 1200m Listed race The Rosebud is set to be run at Rosehill this Saturday - it’s the first stakes race for 3YO's in the new seas...on and a key pointer to the spring. The Rosebud is one of five races won by Sun Stud’s exciting young Snitzel stallion THRONUM. THRONUM won his first two starts as a 2YO and was sent out a $3 shot at his first attempt at stakes level and he passed the test with flying colours by rallying to victory in the most testing conditions. Not only was he a brilliant speed horse on top of the ground - where he won the Group 2 Australian Stakes on a Good 4 and ran a narrow second in the Group 1 William Reid on a Good 3 - he was also as tough as they come on a bottomless Heavy 10, where he refused to yield despite doing all of the work in the run. A true blueblood, THRONUM is closely related to SHAMARDAL (146 stakes winners) and STREET CRY (131 stakes winners) it’s in the DNA! First crop yearlings sell in 2021.
