Kellyville Lions is very appreciative of the management and staff of The Fiddler in Rouse Hill and The Marsden Brewhouse in Marsden Park, for their support of this fundraiser, which raised almost $7000 towards drought relief in NS...W. We have however rostered on a replacement crew for tomorrow and shifted tonight's schedule to tomorrow. The train will therefore be running around the Kellyville High School area tomorrow night (Wednesday 13 December). Our apologies for the inconvenience."

15.01.2022 On the weekend of 2/3 November 2019, 5 members of the Kellyville Lions Club, Richard Lee (President), Paul Campbell, Noel Casey, John Foster and Wayne Kedward, visited their sister club, The Lions Club of Wellington in outback NSW, to assist local Lions Clubs with the distribution of donated hay and other goods to drought affected farmers. Kellyville Lions have been raising funds to assist rural communities with drought relief, as well as participating in distribution days, s...uch as the one conducted in November. The distribution of goods is coordinated by Anne Jones OAM and her husband Peter Perry, from the Lions Club of Geurie (midway between Wellington and Dubbo) with the distribution run from their own farm. Anne is the district coordinator for Lions district N4 drought disaster relief. Kellyville Lions are continuing their drought relief efforts. Anyone who wishes to make a donation or would like to consider joining Kellyville Lions to assist with their various projects, should contact Lion Anne Famularo on 0402056719.

09.01.2022 President Ricchard presenting our past secretary of 6 years a certificate of appreciation for a job well done.
08.01.2022 A brief story of the weekend. The weekend started with dinner Friday Night at the Cow & Calf Wellington which was attended by Anne Jones and Peter Perry where we presented the cheque for $5500 which included the $1000 donated to us by the Mens Shed. On Saturday Morning John Foster took Jenny, Colleen and Lesley D. shopping at the Geurie Mkts first up only to find himself BBQing at their markets at 8am due to manpower shortages (Geurie Lions) prior to returning to Wellingt...on around 9.30 where, the Daley's assisted in the book sales with the other 6 of us selling raffle tickets till around 12.45pm when it all died down. We enjoyed a social evening with Wellington Lions last night (Saturday)when President Christine was asked by Dubbo lions for help at their BBQ at the Drags (the old Wellington airport) as they were short of manpower. John Foster and the Lady's team above went to the drags from 8.30 to 12.30 leaving 6 of us at Wellington. The photos above are around 8.30am at the Wellington showground just prior to being smashed until we left at 12.30. The flies were terrible but the temperature of 32 was ok without the humidity. At this BBQ was John & Anne Famularo, John & Sandra Daley, John L & Paul C. So in summary we supported the BBQ's of Geurie, Dubbo and the Wellington swap meet and Vintage Fair. Not a bad effort for Kellyville to be flexible enough to support 3 other Lions Clubs which allowed these clubs to maximise their fundraising. It is also worth mentioning that Domino's Wellington donated our dinner Saturday night and one of the raffle prizes. They were very good also to the group who visited for the drought relief weekend in November. See more
