22.01.2022 This week we're looking back at the Kellyville Public School Skywalker Playground! This project was driven heavily by consultation with year 1 and 2 students, w...ho produced hundreds of drawings and pictures which guided the design. Suggestions included rocket-shaped "hopckoch" "muchroom" seats a toy car track "norts and crossis" and seats surrounding a tree! The students then joined the construction team on site to make sure the playground was following their brief!

19.01.2022 Looking forward to 2021 Students at Kellyville Public School are looking forward to updates on the construction of the back playground throughout 2021. Year 3 have been investigating erosion and have made suggestions for improvements. 2M have been following an inquiry process by Lane Clark to create designs and they have presented their recommendations. They have researched, surveyed and interviewed experts, including Mr Morris who brought in conveyancing equipment to create a map of the area. The safety team of 5 students were pleased that one of their recommendations has already resulted in action. Wire being placed across some of the buildings to help prevent balls being lost underneath has already commenced. It is very exciting for the students to have such a large input into the school environment.
