02.01.2022 There was no stopping our Token Day. What a great way to celebrate the end of term, and raise money for our Year 6 students’ end of year celebrations.

02.01.2022 Kindergarten celebrated Book Week, and their love of reading with some wonderful characters today.

02.01.2022 Friday sport for 4S started with breaking down the Overarm Throw into steps so we could develop and improve our technique. Then we played two Indigenous Traditional games - Gorri and Koolchee. In Gorri, we pretended to throw a spear (a small ball) at a moving object (a large infants jump ball) as it rolled and bounced across in front of us. In Koolchee, we used plastic bowling pins as targets and tried to hit them with a small ball. We imagined we were hunting for possum, birds and goannas. The photo shows who in the class hit the pin and 'caught food for their clan'. It was a really fun way of practising our throwing. We will be learning more skills and playing Indigenous games each week this Term.

01.01.2022 Some more wonderful entries for our Archibald competition. Students in KB created portraits of Jessica Mauboy and Adam Goodes.
