17.01.2022 Major Banks are no longer offering advice as an option, Major Super Funds are no longer offering full advice and according to Adviser Ratings, more than 4000 Financial Advisers left the sector in 2019. Thats a whopping 20%. It is also believed that 1/3 of the remaining advisers are considering leaving in the next 1-2 years. You might be saying "come on Kelly Wealth, get to the point". What this all means is, the demand for advice is high and its increasing. So how do you fi...nd an adviser that works for you? Ask your adviser these questions: 1) How are they paid and incentivised? - Make sure the incentives are not product based. 2) Who owns their licence to practice or are they aligned with any major companies? - Be aware that major institutions may have influence over the adviser. 3) How do they charge fees? 4) What do YOU receive for the upfront and ongoing fees? - Can they show you examples and relate these to your needs? Will YOU actually get any value? 5) What are their qualifications and experience? - Basic education and limited experience can sometimes be okay, as long as your needs are not outside of their scope. 6) What are the limitations on the advice they can give? - Is this limited to Super, investments, and insurance?

10.01.2022 So though today is Sunday ,it was take your dog to work day at KWS. While on a rushed nature stop for the dog I locked myself out of the office. My office contained, my phone , car and office keys and wallet. After blaming the dog for 5 minutes I realised I was buggered. I was saved though by the very helpful Indian grocer in the office next door , who lent me her mobile and i phoned my wife.... I stopped yelling at the dog and was saved. Big shout out to Indian groceries and spices cairns . The VERY best Indian produce (and help)in Cairns. Needless to say, Im cooking Indian for dinner. See more
