24.01.2022 Finally, Footy is Back! We still have positions available on some of our teams. Please enquire if you would like to join our club.... https://www.kelmscottjfc.com.au/registration

18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As you may be aware, we have been extremely busy initiating our Return To Training protocols for our club. Kelmscott Junior Football Club will have all teams from Year 3 and above returning to training next week starting 18 May 2020.... We WILL NOT delay the Return To Training start date for our younger teams. Our club is extremely confident that with all protocols in place we will provide a safe environment for ALL our Junior and Youth teams. What we are doing; - All committee and team officials must complete the INFECTION CONTROL TRAINING COVID-19 set out by the Federal Government. - Committee members and team officials have met via conference call and understand all of the protocols. - Each member will receive a detailed outline of all protocols via email. - All teams will train once per week for one hour. - A maximum of 2 teams with 20 players including coaches permissible per ground. - Staggered starting times for all teams to ensure no crossover of players between teams. - Sanitation stations will be set up on each training ground, players and team officials must sanitise their hands, before, during and after training. - All footballs will be sanitised before and after each training session. - No sharing of drink bottles. - Utilisation of all grounds to ensure the required level of distancing. - Committee members will be in attendance and identifiable with Hi Vis vests. A contactless thermometer has been purchased to allow the taking of temperature of players, coaching staff and parents/guardians where necessary. - Only one parent/guardian is able to attend if necessary, however siblings and other children are not permitted at the venue. - Only players, team officials or committee members may enter the training areas. (a detailed map showing our grounds will be sent to all members). - It is also advisable that the COVID-19 app is downloaded on phones. We are unable to start Auskick until at least Stage 3 of the easing of restrictions. Although Auskick usually starts at the commencement of the playing season, we will start as soon as we can, whether or not junior and youth games have commenced. We are excited that we are able to begin training and look forward to some form of normality for our club. We are still accepting new players, if you would like to play at KJFC, please contact us. We would like to thank our members and team officials for your patience and understanding throughout these difficult times. Thanks and stay safe, Kelmscott Junior Football Club
