22.01.2022 At Bunnings yesterday in Ballarat. I have already posted this note but to remind ppl of why Ned had a muzzle on yesterday. Dogs MUST have muzzles on OR be in trolleys at all Bunnings stores in Victoria. In my case as l always have more than one dog when there l carry a muzzle in my car at all times, and if l ever come across a stay dog or injured dog. These light weight plastic basket muzzles are avail on ebay or most feed stores for between $8-$15 and well worth owning and ...teaching your dog to comfortably wear one. Muzzles can be a life saver for your dog with baits around etc. EG yesterday, at Bunnings l was buying potting mix and some bags had been ripped open therefore there was mix and pellets on the round that Ned was trying to eat and couldn't due to his muzzle! potting can be toxic to dogs. This was the first time Ned has ever had a muzzle on and was perfect probably as he wears a head Halti for walks, so used to things being on his snout.

12.01.2022 Marcus was awesome today, he got to meet snout to snout a few dogs and lots passed him by walking around the lake. I was very proud of my covid baby. Angie didnt flinch at anything, got to see and hear scooters, motorbikes, cars, trucks, kids, dogs etc.

12.01.2022 My mummas home..my mummas home...1 extra very happy girl. I had to go with Charlie to his specialist in Geelong today and got home to 10 nutty kelpies so excited to see me.

11.01.2022 The new Air Conditioner l had installed a few months ago, is brilliant! Even though my 25yr old one worked this one is much colder in fact l am cold! and the dogs are all snuggling together whereas normally in this weather they would be flaked out on the slate or brick floors looking for coolness.

08.01.2022 Just lit the fire for only the second time this autumn cos its getting down to 2deg overnight. There's always at least two dogs that want to lie on me so no need for it most nights.

07.01.2022 This pup has me worried ...at this rate she will be smarter than me in a week... She was playing somewhere in the house while l was cooking our dinner and came instantly when l called out Angie, them stopped when she saw me, l said 'come' and she came straight to me and then l said 'Sit' and she sat beautifully and had her dinner! She has spent some time in the creche this afternoon while all the big doggies have been running around out the back and not a peep out of her. I... thought the first night she was coming to my voice, but nope cos she comes instantly when Charlie calls her name too. She has bloodlines that go right back to the same very old lines Banjo had, so hopefully she is similar to him. Time to go have a game of ball with the dogs now they are all home as two have been out with Charlie all day gold detecting, then wind down the nerves for tonight huge footy game.... GO CATS!

06.01.2022 Note: we will not be going to the Casterton Kelpie Festival this year, the first time in over a decade, but as Charlie is at high risk with compromised health it is better that he doesn't mingle with crowds until everyone is vaccinated. For those that are going, enjoy!
