19.01.2022 SASS Staff Recognition Week This week is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to thank our support staff for their dedication to public education. Our SAS staff play many roles supporting the efficient management of schools including administration, health and safety, and finance. They include school administrative managers, school learning support officers and general assistants. On behalf of Kelso Public School we say thank you for making our school a great place to learn.
19.01.2022 There’s a dinosaur in our classroom! 3G Palaeontologists have found evidence of the existence of dinosaurs at Kelso Public School. Students have uncovered dinosaur bones, researched dinosaurs, explored the theory of extinction and created their own dinosaurs Stay tuned for the Stage 2, 3D dinosaur competition.

12.01.2022 Netball School Cup 2021 Today we had the privilege of attending the Bathurst Netball School Cup with 3 girl teams. We are so impressed with the commitment, effort and dedication the girls have demonstrated both leading up to the day and today. Each team played 4 or 5 games and displayed the highest level of sportsmanship and teamwork. Mrs J and Miss Wright could not have asked for a better outcome for the day. Go Kelso

09.01.2022 Sweet as honey! Today the upper primary students saw first hand how bees are vital in the sustainability of plants, food and human survival. They also learnt about Beekeeping as an occupation, the collection of honey and the life cycle of bees. A great big thank you to Beekeeper Ron for sharing his expertise.

08.01.2022 In School, Camp Out KW, KG & K-6W had a fantastic day learning in the outdoors. We went on nature walks, built cubbies, created Andy Goldsworthy inspired artworks and enjoyed problem solving through team building activities. A huge thank you to all the staff who helped make today such a valuable experience for our students!!!

05.01.2022 Class Camping Throughout this term K/6 Green have been experiencing the wonders of camping - toasting marshmallows, reading by the campfire, fishing by the river, sleeping in our swag and bushwalking around our school.
05.01.2022 How does it work? Mrs Daymond’s class celebrated the culmination of their Human Body Unit with a Science Fair, sharing their knowledge and expertise with Stage 1 students.
03.01.2022 Camping Fun in Stage One 1 White, 1 Green and K/6 Red used the school grounds to camp out for the day. We made snacks, played in a tent, listened to a camp story and made natural art. A wonderful day of learning and and play.
