25.01.2022 Thank you to all of the clubs who travelled to compete at the Sheridan Legal Qualifying meet yesterday. Congratulations to the Kempsey Swimming Club members who continue to make us enormously proud with their spirit and efforts. Also looking sharp in our new uniforms. Finally thank you to the volunteers who make our carnivals possible (even in these COVID times). Peter (the Pres.)
25.01.2022 I have received some more sad news this morning to pass on to you. Life Member Gwen Hudson, who had still been assisting us in the Presentation Area at our Area Hosted Meets, has passed away. Gwen and the Hudson family were active members of the club, in the both local and representative arenas. She was a member of the club administration, including the Ladies Auxiliary, holding various positions and was awarded Life Membership in 1975. Gwen will be sadly missed by many. RIP Gwen.

23.01.2022 The Sheridan Legal Swim Meet was held yesterday at the Kempsey Pool. We had a great turn out and the weather held out enough for us to enjoy the day. Thanks to all the competitors, technical officials and parents for making the Sheridan Legal Swim Meet a great success.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to our second Mixed Medley Relay Team who had a great swim. Well done Brielle Woodger and Keeley Smith on your relay team debut. Great swim also from Jake Worthing and Max Farrell.
20.01.2022 Our 4 x 50M Free Open Men’s Relay Team won a silver medal. It was the last race after two days of tough competition. Everyone loves a good relay and our team did not disappoint. Congratulations Mark Thurgood, Jake Worthing, Kolby Wood and Adam Grant.
20.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that I advise that Life Member Gerry Webb passed away last night. He will be greatly missed by many and his famous "Gerry-Burger's" will continue to be a staple on the club's BBQ menu. 19.01.2022 It's time to purchase your Kempsey Swim Club Membership for the 2020-21 Season. Swimming Australia has upgraded their Swim Central software to make the process a lot easier this year. Link to Swim Central Login Page is as follows: https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au... You just sign in with the same email and password you used last year, no matter what club you were with, or create a new account if you are a new member. Once you have logged in and created your family, you go in as each separate person, click the Store icon and select the membership product. When in the store section, select Memberships and select the right membership for you or your child. It is club policy that registered child members must be accompanied by a registered adult member (at least one Adult per family). Products are listed and priced as follows: KSC 9 Years & Over Swimmer - $100.00 KSC 8 Years & Under Swimmer - $100.00 KSC Non Swimmer - $30.00 You can use your Active Kids Vouchers to pay at the checkout. Make sure you do not include the spaces in the AKV number section. You will still have to enter your credit card details for a $0.00 balance. From Monday 28th September we will be opening for recreational swimming Our numbers are limited due to Covid We have a covid plan... in place ,keeping with the regulations from NSW Health ..we are allowed 60 total swimmers in the recreational pools that we can control safely...24 lap swimmers total in 50 m pool with 3 per lane ...this does not include spectators .. We must stay in the pool whilst swimming no playing around the pool areas ...If you do not follow directions you will be asked to leave .. Covid marshell will be on duty Numbers can be adjusted If necessary Or the covid plan changed ... Having 2 sessions daily allows for all a swim and not just limit for the day .. 2 sessions daily ...Mon - Friday 10am to 1.30 ... close -clean 2pm to 5.30 pm ...close -clean 2 sessions Daily ...Sat ..Sun 10am to 1pm ..close- clean 1.30 to 4.30 ...close -clean ... 05.01.2022 COMMUNITY SPORT COVID-19 SAFETY PLAN UPDATES As a result of rising COVID-19 case numbers in NSW, NSW Health has revised the COVID-19 Safety Plan template for co...mmunity sporting competitions and full training activities. We are asking that all community sport organisations across NSW put plans in place to minimise community sport spectators where practical, to parents and carers only. Unfortunately this means we’d prefer no aunties and uncles, grandparents or siblings crowding the sidelines if they don’t need to be there. We are also asking these organisations to ensure processes are in place to exclude participants and spectators if they have visited Victoria in the past 14 days or any of the reported case locations on the NSW Health website. 02.01.2022 Sorry but my settings will not allow me to save the hours of opening ..Kempsey pool ...this may help ..we are not open early on Mondays only our coffee is avail...able from 7am to 9 am ..there is no recreational swimming only lap swimming and group training ..we are opening our 50 m pool early this year but the other pools will be closed due to weather conditions...
