24.01.2022 If anyone wants to do this or has the cash to do this hit us up because I’m keen

24.01.2022 Maintenance day.

14.01.2022 Part 1. Monday. 8/02/21 This is an iconic Tasmanian 4wd track that we have always wanted to do. It’s in the middle of no where and no phone service. After being... told the track was in good nic(wrong!) And finding 2 other guys wanting to take it on too(wimps) things were looking good. Side not we would not have tried this big hole alone! So we gave it a red hot go. 3/4 though. Bogged as fuck! But that’s ok there’s 2 4wds right behind us to help. After waiting a couple of minutes and calling on our pre decided uhf channel it became very apparent we were alone. Betrayal level 9000! So solo recovery began. Ran the winch out. Found perfect and only small tree wishing reach. Started to pop out and bam no power available to run it. Officially screwed So no choice but to hike out for help. 4.2kms back down this track. Walking through the water holes. Then 11kms down sand cape track where Tasmania police picked us up. 3 1/2 hrs of walking. They told us no one offical will help us and the cars gone. we got dropped off at a caravan park for the night with nothing but the shirts on our back. 9pm at night. #discovertasmania #Balfourtrack #westcoasttasmania #4wdlife #gupatrol #BlackSeriesCamper Ken Oath Mechanical and Recovery

11.01.2022 Part 2. Tuesday After a very sleepless night, waiting for someone to answer our sos of Facebook, our prayers were answered when a new up and coming 4wd recover...y specialist team got in contact with us. Can’t ever thank Ken Oath Mechanical and Recovery enough for the quality rescue. They were able to come get us and take us back to the car. Took 2 1/2 hrs of hard work to get the car and trailer out. We were so stuck in there! Tassie mud is so unforgiving!! The best part is we were able to get our damaged electrical problems fixed the next day at the shop. Not all hero’s wear capes Absolute legends! Just some of the best people you could hope to meet. #Balfourtrack #4wdlife #discovertasmania #bogged #tasmania See more
