23.01.2022 Here are the different areas of the gym where I am a member. I would recommend this gym as a good all rounder with good space, a variety of equipment and is not too busy. There are staff available everyday at some point apart from Sunday. A starting good base gym. https://www.facebook.com/AnytimeFitnessGlenorchy/?ref=search&__tn__=%2Cd%2CP-R&eid=ARCoBHcMcpduPxVu6FKAZUK-oTh-aaqHvlP2-f2XEgX4WllM4DgCxUAnGv685vFmKEuCn9ayWW9gRRDC... https://www.anytimefitness.com.au//au-/glenorchy-tas-7010/

This video from 'VSHRED' highlights 5 common mistakes when using the cable row and explains fully the correct and best technique to use. Hope you enjoy it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uj_mFORqCM

12.01.2022 It is only fair to mention more than one gym in Hobart. My daughter knows this gym well and I believe it has played a large part of her body building and fitness journey so far. The staff are 100% professional and well qualified. The gym is compact but can cater for just about any type of fitness sector you would want to get involved with. It has an incredible website which you should check out. There is so much information about all things gym, it is a great resource as well. https://gtt.com.au/

12.01.2022 Today is the opening of Nutrition Warehouse in Glenorchy. They are giving away free shaker and fill it with a choice of protein powders (Vegan, half protein/half Carbs and 100% Protein). Open from now until 4pm. Check them out on their website: www.nutritionwarehouse.com.au

12.01.2022 ok, here goes. to try to reduce my belly. I have taken measurements of myself and need to sit down and work out a few things. Height: 190cm Chest: 112cm... Hip circumference: 101cm Waist just above hip: 95 cm Waist in line with belly button: 103. So, it would appear that I need to reduce my belly waist with a target of 95 cm. I do want to increase body muscle but get rid of the fat, so, No puddings, no snacking unhealthily, no processed foods, regular eating times and cardio combined with strength training. Hmm...ok, sounds fine. Today was a pickled egg, water and a tea for breakfast (yes, I know, but I love pickled eggs). Lunch Tuna with corn and beetroot, Dinner is chicken and brown rice, with plenty of spices, a curry, no yogurt or cream. I'll save you the photo, but I have taken it and hopefully will do a before and after bit later down the track. Quite like this page: https://stronglifts.com/belly-fat/#gref See more

10.01.2022 I was asked about motivational equipment or GIF's and this sprung to mind first. Prior to my hip replacement in Dec 2017 when the arthritis and pain in my hip got too much my Physio recommended resistance bands and a number of exercises to keep the hip moving and to try to keep the bone from my leg and pelvis not to rub together so much (the cartilage was gone). Two links are for simple extending hip forwards and then backwards. https://media.giphy.com/media/xT9DPotSop06hmg8HS/giphy.gif https://media.giphy.com/media/xT9DPowGS1nMnMKs5G/giphy.gif

06.01.2022 https://www.youtube.com/watch I came across this mini morning work out. It definitely gets your heart going plus it has a great feel good factor after, and all in under 10 mins.

05.01.2022 I thought I would post the link to Sports Australia/The Australian Institute of Sport in respect to Nutrition. Recipes, Supplements and Resources are three links on the page that take you into a vast amount of information. The Resources Section covers topics such as: Nutrition and Athletic Performance, Exercise and Fluid Replacement plus Dietary Supplements and a host of other Nutrient topics. A handy site to keep as a Bookmark on your computer.... https://www.sportaus.gov.au/ais/nutrition

05.01.2022 Good week, completed a couple of courses. SIS30315 Cert III in Fitness (Gym Instructor) and qualified as a Level 4 Football Referee (soccer).

05.01.2022 ok, next week I start to get my belly down...I am 111kg, when I first started to think I was a bit over weight was playing rugby and was 107kg. I have my stomach and it riles me all the time, so lets go and get it down...it starts tomorrow..As much as I hate the look I will and hopefully show you it getting less and less.

01.01.2022 Signed up for a football (soccer) referee course in June. Looking forward to it, I think ref's get a lot less abuse and hassle here than they do back in Scotland , time will tell... https://footballfedtas.com.au/
