20.01.2022 Rehab A month ago I could hardly do high knees without my lower back seizing up! I’ve had a bulged disc injury, and it was extremely taxing on my mental health as I was unable to work out. BUT Patience is a virtue, as is doing the rehab exercises the allied heath professionals give you. It has definitely made me more in tune with my body, and now form is even MORE important than it was before my injury. I’m hyper-mobile in MOST of my joints, so I’m more likely to injure myself if I don’t take care to safely move within my ROMS. I love working with clients that are in rehab after an injury, or even just prehab to avoid injury. I want everyone to know that an injury does not mean game over when it comes to exercise.

14.01.2022 Sustainable lifestyle. I talk about it all the time, but I live it! I have lived it, and I’ll continue to live it! It’s a new year so everyone’s quick to toss in a new year new me gym routine into the mix, but instead of making it a 2 month or 3 month thing, let’s make it last throughout the entire year. Set short term goals to meet long term ones. Measure them along the way and make them enjoyable. NOT a miserable grind. If you’re hating it day in and day out, ...then stop and go find something else that you LIKE. If the people around you aren’t supportive, find new peeps. If you aren’t progressing with your trainer both mentally and physically, find someone else. I’m not going to be everyone’s ideal personal trainer, and that’s okay! That’s why it’s called PERSONAL. 11.01.2022 Such an awesome morning with my friends turned to teammates. We raised $900 for Mental Health Awareness. Collectively everyone ran over 300 laps!! Maggie and I ran 52 laps, while Cam got in 50!! Waves of supporters came through and added in laps, some with 15 laps each after a fitstop workout, and some did 5 right before a workout. The stairs dont look too bad, but they definitely challenge those pins! I want to thank everyone that supported this fundraiser. I hope everyone knows that Im always here to talk. Working out is my mental health staple, and lemme tell you without it, Im a grumpy girl! So get out and sweat, and always find a way to talk it out. Whatever issue, big or small, someone is there to remind you its gonna be okay MERRY CHRISTMAS
