We always appreciate it when Constable Wendy speaks with our students, reinforcing the importance of safe and respectful social media use, the importance of regular school attendance, making good choices and looking out for our friends. As well as answering so many wide and varied questions from "what do they get to eat in jail"? to "how do I become a police officer"?

25.01.2022 ENROL NOW FOR KINDERGARTEN 2021 If you have any children ready to start Kindergarten next year or know of any families in our community and have not yet made contact with the school please advise them to contact the school and begin the enrolment process. Enrolment forms can be completed online via the Kendall Public School Website.

24.01.2022 Swimming scheme starts tomorrow for those children who have signed notes. Please remember all your gear as no phone calls to parents will be made. Also no late notes will be accepted. Swimming scheme runs for 8 days Monday to Thursday for two weeks. $4 pool entry or a pool pass for pool entry every day. Let’s hope for great weather for our kidlets.

24.01.2022 NSW Health Primary School MOBILE DENTIST Program Notes will be coming home this week in regard to this program. Please complete and return the blue consent form and the bulk billing consent form to school by Friday 18th September if you wish to use this service.... The Dentist Van will be visiting our school in Term 4 from week 1 Wednesday 14th October. Please note: We do not have spare forms for this service, if you are not taking up the offer to use this service please still return your unused package.

23.01.2022 OVER DUE LIBRARY BOOKS Reminders have been sent home today for any outstanding library books. Please search for these at home and return to school as soon as possible. Borrowing will cease on 4th December so stock-take can take place in preparation for the end of the year. We currently have 248 books outstanding. :(

21.01.2022 SCHOOL ANZAC SERVICE Our Parliamentarians will host our school ANZAC service on Friday 23rd April. If families would like to send flowers or greenery from their garden on Friday, teachers will put them together to be laid at our flag pole during the service. COMMUNITY ANZAC SERVICE... This year Kendall Community ANZAC Service will be held at the Kendall Services Club 5:30am & 10am. Due to the logistics of organising with Covid guidelines there will be no march this year. If students wish to attend and represent our school at the 10am service they are welcome to wear their school uniform and meet with Mrs Jenner at the Kendall Club. (please note; as this is not a school event students will remain the responsibility of their parents/carers whilst at the service). 12.01.2022 Education Week 2020 theme was "Learning Together" Our students had a great day today with activities organised throughout the day by our Stage 3 students. Mixed groups enjoyed a variety of activities together. It was heart warming to watch different age children work, learn and have fun together while supporting each other.

12.01.2022 While Covid restrictions are in place we are asking parents not to send in home made cakes for childrens birthdays. If you need to send something in for the class to share they need to be individually wrapped eg ice blocks, chocolate bars etc. Thank you for understanding.

11.01.2022 Todd Woodbridge Zooms In! As part of the Racquet Roadshow, some of our tennis players and the Kindergarten children had a chat with Todd Woodbridge today. He talked about his tennis career and showed his Wimbledon and Davis Cup trophies, as well as his gold and silver olympic medals. They had some great questions for Todd too. What a fantastic experience! #racquetroadshow

10.01.2022 COVID UPDATES FOR SCHOOLS School Attendance In accordance with advice from NSW Health, parents and carers are reminded NOT to send children to school if they are unwell, even if they have the mildest flu-like symptoms.... Schools will make arrangements for students who present as unwell or have flu like symptoms to be sent home. Students absent or sent home due to flu like symptoms need to be tested for COVID-19. Staff and students must not return to school or work until they return a negative COVID-19 result and are symptoms free. Schools must sight the negative COVID-19 test result prior to allowing students and staff to return to school.

We are one of 832 lucky schools to be receiving racquets. Its a great opportunity to get our kids moving, both at home and at school! 06.01.2022 MINI FAIR - THURSDAY 17th This event is our Year 6 major fundraiser for the year. Our Year 6 students put lots of time and energy into organising a mini fair for the students to enjoy in staggered groups throughout the day. They ask students to bring along money to spend at different stalls and activities ranging between 50 cents to $1. Activities include lucky dips, water ballons, nerf gun targets, horror house, footy pass and lots more.....
