Not only did I get to officiate this fabulous ceremony but I also got to stay and party the night away to celebrate the marriage of one of my life long friends to the man of her dreams Maree & James thought of every single detail for their big day. From the perfect location (Glen Ewin Estate) to the most insta-worthy photo spots for their guests (a white swing amongst... the beautiful tree’s, a lit up sign with At Last nestled amongst greenery & the perfect stone wall) an epic photo booth inside the reception, an incredible never-seen-before surprise burlesque performance from the bride and her maids late in the evening & who could forget the most memorable moment of the night.... a midnight snack of cheeseburgers delivered to their 200 guests!! They thought of it all Maree & James are the most beautiful couple both inside and out. They are caring, kind, giving & loyal. Their love is strong, supportive & encouraging. With strong Scottish heritage as the main theme, this wedding was like no other I’ve ever done. Allira who was dressed in the most regal wedding gown, with her highland sash & sparkling brooches, walked down the aisle to live bagpipes!! The sound was INCREDIBLE, just like Allira & Jacob’s love story. They’ve indured some long distance love but have always managed to keep their relationship strong. They completely balance each other out & it was clear to see that their love is easy! A truly gorgeous couple inside & out!

Us celebrants will no longer have to say that marriage is between a man and a woman. The new phrase is Marriage, according to law in Australia is the union of TWO PEOPLE to the exclusion of all others voluntarily entered into for life. Well done Australia
