25.01.2022 She is a bit special this one. With the moth eaten look and all. Grown very fond of her. Had allways planned to sell this foal. But this one is a keeper. Welsh Cob Filly (Rowen Bee Gee x Pen-Nant Golden Girl)

24.01.2022 Kasalyn Kassidy (Strider) all grown up. As breeders you only remember them as youngstock. It is great seeing them out and about. Ellie Mae sent these photos to me of Strider and herself at his first ODE.

24.01.2022 Kasalyn Take It Easy. Photos taken at 11 months old. Currently Standing at 14.2hh expected maturity 15.3hh-16hh.

23.01.2022 Working out FB. Visitor posts not showing up on Max's page. So here is an old post LP Rose x Kenda Park Maxamillion. Kasalyn Prince Charming WB x Welsh.

23.01.2022 Here is a lovely Max youngster for sale. Laissez Faire Wilbur. 4yo Welsh D x Brumby/ASH Gelding. Reg part Welsh. Sire is Kenda Park Maxamillion. Should mature approx 15.1h. Bred to be versatile, athletic, smart. Lovely type and conformation. Wilbur oozes personality, spunk and charisma, with movement that's sure to impress. He would excel in an eventing/SJ/Endurance home. Raised on a working farm and not fussed by that environment. Been to poles clinics in hand, breed shows... and walked on roads and trails in hand. Solid ties, floats super well, been paddocked in herds and by himself. Wilbur will be sold as 'not yet under saddle' as he has only had 2 very brief sits and walks under saddle as at today. Ready to continue his under saddle education with more professional training. Very sad and hard sale, due to a young family. Best suited to a confident and experienced home and rider to bring out his best attributes. He is not a kids pony, he is bred to be smart, confident and athletic. No nervous riders need enquire. Selling well below replacement cost. $5500. Contact Kirsty Papalia by text on 0438 900 585. Thankyou. Currently in Perth to be sold. Please read all the information before asking questions. See more

22.01.2022 I love just spending time with this girl. I was thinking about halter showing Saxxy but i don't think it is my thing so i think i will just be taking her out a...nd about to some clinics. Maybe that will give me the confidence to take the step into halter showing. What do you recommend for upcoming clinics? See more

21.01.2022 To all owners of Max babies. I am interested to know how tall your youngster is now. A pic and age would be great too.

18.01.2022 An old post that didn't come up on newsfeed. A Nandi Lea x Kenda Park Maxamillion foal. They produce a lovely Welsh Arab cross.

18.01.2022 Jest Irresistabelle foaled a beautiful big colt (by Max) this morning - much to our surprise! Being another week til her due date and no foaling signs in sight, we had left her out with her paddock buddy overnight. Thankfully all went well and her and bub are now safe in the foaling paddock. A timely reminder that sometimes mares just don't play by the book! Looks like Day 1 was all a bit too much excitement for the little guy

17.01.2022 Well this little filly (Rowen Bee Gee x Pen-Nant Golden Girl) gave me a heart stop moment Friday night. Thank goodness for foaling alarms. It seems i either slept through some of the alarm or GG didn't set it off until she was 3/4 done. I arrived to a foal 3/4 out. Bag still intact and motionless foal. Tore the bag open lifted her head, it was limp and tongue lolling but still pink. Brain was working over time. Honestly thought she was dead. Tried a few chest compres...sions. Then thought of mouth to mouth or in this case mouth to nostril. One big blow and then she took a big gasp and started breathing. I was over the moon. Until i started thinking what the consequences maybe not knowing how long she might have been without oxygen. Dummy foal was first thought and as i watched her breathing seemed laboured and struggled to get head off the ground. Seemed like an eternity but probably 15 mins she sat up then stood up in one go. Stood for a while then started looking for Mum. I had by now taken some Colostrum from GG thinking foal may be dummy and need a start. She wolfed this down. GG was a bit bewildered so i placed her so foal was in the right spot and the foal literally found the teat straight away and started slurping. Had to double check that she was actually latched on because it was so quick. Happy dance. Sat and watched a bit longer for first poo and wondering whether i was going to have retained placenta. When that all happened. Thought i had been there for hours, looked at my watch. One hour had passed. Nature never ceases to amaze me and you never stop learning. See more

12.01.2022 Counting our blessings again this year for the safe arrival of our two foals. LP Rose foaled a big colt yesterday and with a bit of help from "Midwife Su", he arrived safe and well. This is the third time we've made this cross (Kenda Park Maxamillion x LP Rose) and we are once again blown away by the type and bone it produces. This boy is a full brother to Kasalyn Prince Charming and Kasalyn Take It Easy.... Still lots of unscrunching to do, but here are some wobbly day 2 photos for you all.

08.01.2022 Kasalyn Chase the Ace. (Kenda Park Maxamillion x Jest Irresistabelle) Welsh x Arab Geldin, 1yo, mature 14.2-15hh. Full brother to Kasalyn So Saxxy. Open to offers to the most suitable knowledgeable home. He deserves the best.... Responsive and soft on lead. Good for farrier. Been on float. Needs someone to make the bond with him and i know he will do anything to please. Just looking for that leader. Running out of time i can spend with him as going away to work early next year and would rather not throw him back out in the paddock. I am hoping someone can see his potential as i can. See more

01.01.2022 Introducing Pen-nant Golden Girl. Recently acquired from Teonieparee Welsh. She is in foal to Rowen Beegee. Due 11th September. Looking to be a tad early with wax this morning.

01.01.2022 When we established Kasalyn Welsh Performance Horses in late 2014 - our stud plan was always to breed "quiet, trainable and conformationally correct performance horses, with the temperament and rideability for the everyday horse person". Since our first foals were born in 2015, we have always believed we are perfectly on track with our aim. Now, as our early foals reach 3 - 4 years old, and thanks to the wonderful horse people who have purchased them, we continue to receive ...heart-warming updates like this one we received yesterday from Ellie Honeybone, who owns 4yo Kasalyn Kassidy (Strider). "Driving this lad up to Perth tomorrow for a much deserved 6 week break. He’s been so unbelievably easy to ride and he’s turning into such a beautiful boy! [...] I’ve got him working on the bit, moving off my leg, trail riding all on his own and popping over a few teeny XC jumps. A testament to your breeding that I’m able to do this all on my own - never thought I’d be able to start my own baby but he’s been so great!!! Can’t wait for next year!!! " Mum and I send out our deepest gratitude to every single owner of a Kasalyn bred horse. We are blessed that each one has a home with such loving, knowledgeable horse people. We cannot express the joy it brings us when we receive updates like Ellie's - this is why we keep breeding
