I am committed to helping our community by developing services and initiatives that alleviate some of the social and financial stresses caused by the pandemic. Recently, I was very pleased to write and introduce a financial assistance package to Council for ratepayers as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is to assist residents experiencing financial hardship... by offering eligible ratepayers a $200 rate waiver for the fourth quarter of the current rates cycle, and a zero percent rate rise for all ratepayers for the new financial year.
