25.01.2022 Looks like I should make some blocks.

24.01.2022 Some more photos of the butterfly jewellery box

24.01.2022 New Double Wine Bottle Box. This one is specifically designed for wedding Padlock Ceremonies/ Wine Box Ceremonies, and features a solid brass 'hasp & staple' latch for a padlock.

18.01.2022 Just finished this (and another similar one) today. I love the deep red streaks in these pieces of Jarrah, and the cross-hatch Aust Oak inlay worked out really well.

14.01.2022 New design for a leaf-shaped jewellery box

11.01.2022 One of the heart-shaped ring boxes I've been working on over the last couple of weeks. Making the velvet covered pillow for the ring was surprisingly tricky. I also made a couple with blue velvet.

09.01.2022 Another large keepsake box made from 100 year old reclaimed Jarrah. With its Australian Oak corner accents, this one is modelled on a smaller version I made a while ago.

09.01.2022 Finally finished the butterfly jewellery box! I've been working on this piece on and off for quite a few months now. I'm so pleased with it that I'm definitely going to design some more nature inspired boxes.

08.01.2022 Finally finished (apart from the staircase) my prototype of a 'knock down' solid timber dollhouse. It's designed to assemble and disassemble easily without screws or nails.

08.01.2022 And here is one of the blue velvet ones

07.01.2022 New photos of blue and red dyed Paurenfeyndt dussacks.

06.01.2022 After finally finishing the 'butterfly' jewellery box, I decided to continue with the nature theme (and the scroll-saw work with contrasting Jarrah) to make this little leaf-shaped ring/earring box. Now I'm trying to think of something else from the natural world to inspire the design of my next box. (Flowers are the obvious choice, but they've been done lots of times before)

01.01.2022 Introducing the new Paurenfeyndt Dussack! These have been in development for quite a while now, but they're finally ready. Thanks to Mark Holgate and the guys at Adelaide Sword Academy for testing (to destruction!) several prototype versions.
