24.01.2022 Another engraved timber slab sign completed! This one is 6ft long with 4 inch lettering.

19.01.2022 7.25 inch gauge Romulus update. Smokebox and chimney painted and reunited with the boiler, then the boiler assembly reunited with the chassis. The wheelset has also been returned to the chassis after the manufacture of a replacement coil spring.

17.01.2022 7.25 inch gauge Romulus Locomotive update: all cylinder studs were removed, cleaned and replaced as required. Cylinders were honed and came up well. Slide valves were cleaned up, mating surfaces redressed and refitted to thier respective steam chests. New piston rings definitely required! Never have seen piston rings this badly worn! Just paper thin... Works for this week include refitting the motion, valve gear and new mechanical lubricators, repainting of the cab, backead fittings reinstalled, including new gauge glass mountings.
