17.01.2022 Another image from Africa without animals... Victoria Falls from a helicopter. It’s hard to imagine that the equivalent of the entire annual water usage of New York City goes over the Falls every four days... until you’re standing there looking at it and listening to the roar. The power of the Falls is amazing and yet the previous sunset image was taken just a short distance upstream from here. Truly awe inspiring!

17.01.2022 Don’t just take the iconic or epic photograph when you visit somewhere new. Remember, there’s always a story to tell. Look for the details, the story within the story... you’ll come away with photographs that hold precious memories that will probably mean more to you than the postcard shot. These images were all made at Babylonstoren at Franschoek just outside of Captetown in South Africa.

17.01.2022 It's a tradition! I always share a conversation with my dear friend Karen Hutton on the first podcast episode of the year! Please share :) xoxo http://valeriejardinphotography.com//hit-the-streets-153-w

16.01.2022 Africa is a wonderful continent, but it’s not always about the animals. There’s so much to see and do, including a leisurely sunset cruise on the Chobe River at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

13.01.2022 I’m on my way back from Melbourne, so called into Sheep Hills to photograph a Silo I missed on my way over (due to bad weather and light). Personally, I think this is the best of the five silos in the Silo Art Trail... that’s why I came back this way

02.01.2022 Written by my friend Susan Triano Germyn-Francis... light is light. Learn to see the light irrespective of where it comes from.
