25.01.2022 It was fantastic to see a legend of our club in Anthony Corrie down yesterday to present the medal named in his honour in what traditionally wouldve been NAIDOC Week. The NAIDOC jersey was one of Nuxys initiatives and we wore it proudly yesterday in our first game of 2020.

25.01.2022 A fantastic announcement to secure the future of the Club with support and backing for new female facilities with a new clubhouse and canteen at Chelmer Recreation Reserve. This will build great changerooms to support the huge growth in girls football at our Kenmore Bears Junior Australian Football Club. A joint project with Western Suburbs District Cricket Club and Kenmore Bears AFC.

18.01.2022 DID THAT WEEKEND JUST HAPPEN?! Our Reserves started off the Bears' day in winning fashion, capping off an undefeated season with a comfortable 48 point win over Victoria Point Sharks. The Senior lads, who themselves have been undefeated since round two, went into the big day considered underdogs against the same opposition, but showed what a champion team and culture can achieve together. ... 17.01.2022 An update from AFLQ, with announcements made over the weekend the timetable we will now work to has been revised. In the week beginning May 11, there will be an announcement from the elite game with a proposed date for a resumption of training and return to play. An update around timings for a resumption of activity at Community level, will be provided once the roadmap for the elite competition has been announced. Pleasingly, Governments across Australia are well aware that ...it will be vital for local sport to resume and re-connect support networks that are currently stretched or not operating. We continue to focus on being aligned with the advice of the Government and the relevant medical authorities and are ensuring everything we do protects the health and safety of our participants and wider community. In the meantime we hope all our friends, family and players remain safe and vigilant at this time. We hope to see you all very soon.

16.01.2022 Everything that this club achieved on the weekend could never have happened without the relentless work our President, Terry Mumford, does behind the scenes. For more than a decade, he has poured his heart and soul into the club, often single-handedly to ensure every job during the week and on game day is complete. This year alone, he missed enjoying a number of our games whilst he worked in the canteen serving food and drinks to supporters. The premierships on the weekend were a more than deserving reward for this man’s efforts, and we speak for everyone at the club when we say that we could not be more proud of the club that Mumfy has built.

It is no coincidence that tickets are the same price as a cold beer!

13.01.2022 Congratulations to Mark Nolan on receiving the Anthony Corrie Medal for his on field performance in our annual #NAIDOC game, at Rocklands Station Sports Ground. A big thanks to Nuxy for coming down for the game. A good matchup against Victoria Point in Rd 1 saw the Reserves win 61 - 25 and the Seniors lose in a good game 54 - 73. #AFLQ

This involves an online course and registration to help the club run. Any cost's will be refunded. 16 games, and remuneration is available for your time.
