24.01.2022 With 51 days to go, our focus is starting to turn to volunteers! Without volunteers this event can not be a success. We need the support of local community mem...bers to help make this event happen. We have already been receiving a trickle of volunteering interest but many hands make light work! If you can help out at all on the day, weather it be early in the morning to setup marquees and decorate, during the event to assist at an activity station, cleaning crew or post event to help with the pack down, we will be grateful for any support you can give! In line with our organisation policies, all volunteers over the age of 18 will be required to supply a police clearance. We are requesting that anyone interested in volunteering on the day to please register with the Kalgoorlie Boulder Volunteer Centre, they can assist you in applying for a police clearance, if needed, free of charge. 10.01.2022 Can you believe it is only 74 days until Christmas!!! Have you been wondering how you might be able to help out? Aren't available to volunteer on the day but s...till want to be involved? We are seeking some Christmas Elves to help Santa give the kids a small Christmas gift on the day. I'm asking for those that can, to help purchase some small token gifts from places such as Kmart that we can include in a lolly bag for the kids. A small gift can go a long way in brightening a kids day! If you are able to spare $5 to $10 to purchase a handful of small gifts and drop into our offices that would be amazing! <3 Please let me know if you want to chat further or want any further details on helping out :) Also please feel free to share with your networks!

10.01.2022 The FoodBank Mobile Service will be starting up on Friday 19 February 2021, TOMORROW! The mobile food service will be operating weekly for the next 12 weeks on... a trial basis. The FoodBank Mobile Service will be at the EPIC offices every Friday from 11am - 11.30am and we can assist in providing the appropriate screening and referral to access if you haven't already got an account with FoodBank. Payment will be via EFTPOS only, NO cash. We are so excited about this initiative to make food more accessible for people in our community, please support it if you can.

09.01.2022 'DO NOT POST PHOTOS OF YOUR CHILDREN ON FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL' The Australian Federal Police have issued a warning for all parents. Images with children in school... uniform, their name or indicators of their location in the background can be used by offenders to build a profile and groom parents and children. The AFP is continuing to regularly seize images of children in the collections of online child sex offenders. The AFP has said if you do post to lock down your privacy settings. Community or school social media pages featuring children are also being urged to consider the types of images being shared and who can view them. See more

07.01.2022 A condition of entry to Kennedy Park is that all children must be supervised by an adult at ALL times and having said this it was very diappointing to find the retic at the back of park broken in many places this morning. If anyone sees any vandalism can you please contact the Caretaker so the matter can be dealt with.

We need: - Tinned leg ham - Christmas Cakes or Pudding - long life custard - Jelly packets - Boxes of Cereal - packets of lollies - packets of chocolate - assorted biscuits Spread the word! 02.01.2022 If your child has vomited in any area of the park, especially over the play equipment, can you please contact the Caretakers straight away so the area can be disinfected and washed down. Thankyou to the concerned parent that phoned us today as gastro is doing the rounds at the moment.

02.01.2022 We have had some concerned parents speak to us over the last couple of days about the speed of some cars in the carpark as there have been a couple of near misses with our little ones. Please be aware of your surroundings and only 5 ks as we want everyone safe.
