19.01.2022 Hey Kennedy’s Family. Exciting but also somewhat sad news. First the news that our Lease on the factory we are in expires June 30 in not much more than a month, and regardless we would have had to move buildings. Due to the current Corona Virus scenario where gyms may only have limited numbers of people in them in the next coming months, and also where if another outbreak occurs, to again completely shutdown gyms, these uncertain times make for tough decision making. The EXCI...TING NEWS!!! Kennedys has secured a new building that is currently under construction only a kilometre up the road that will have ample car parking but also be minimum 50% BIGGER! It will be amazing! I have been planning what we will have and be able to do inside it for nearly 2 years, and it will have things no other gyms in Australia has!!! It will be everything we have now but also just more, new different equipment, things to do and ways to train, and more room more space. Of course it will still importantly maintain the current Kennedys feel, culture and comfort that we currently (pre Corona) have. The somewhat sad news. The building won’t be ready until late this year. So unfortunately that means due to the costs of relocating and setting up a 24/7 gym, combined with the Corona limitations and uncertain future income, it makes sense to unfortunately wait for our best Home yet in the 21 years that Kennedys has been helping out everyone on their fitness journey. Bloody Corona! I apologise for this sad news but please know its temporary. I haven’t steered Kennedys for 21 years to get it to where it has been (pre Corona) to stop now or to let a significant bump in the road stop the Kennedys Train from chugging along! This will be the 5th building Kennedys will have called home, each building being bigger and better than the one before and this one more than any previous, i have had a blank canvas to design something awesome, as opposed to any pre existing building that we had to conform to, so I’m excited.I hope you will also be excited and join me in the next and best ever phase in the life of Kennedys Health and Fitness. 13.01.2022 New Update! Sunday 10pm March 22. Corona Nightmare! New Closing Time MONDAY March 23 @ 12NOON. Sorry people but we all gotta do what we gotta do, Just think one day we will all look back at these times and say "remember that bloody Corona bullsh*t". Its out of our comfort zone, its abnormal and its annoying.... But as long as as many of us come out the other side then its worth a little discomfort as opposed to friends or Family members getting sick or god forbid passing away. Stay positive, its a bump in the road of our lives in the big scheme of things and you dont let one bump stop you moving ahead!! See more
12.01.2022 Hey Kennedy’s family...here’s a Booty, Abs/Core and improvised Shoulder/Tricep Workout for those with not much exercise equipment at home! If you DO have Weights of course use them Due to RIDICULOUS slow internet I have failed in trying to upload this direct to this page twice in the last 20 hours and still with zero success hence this share. I intend to do a Weights only workout for those who DO have weights at home coming next, followed by Legs/Booty/Core, and also a S...tretch reminder for all my Clients who need Glute Lower Back Hammy flexibility and mobility. 05.01.2022 Hey Kennedy’s Family! Here’s a 20min video of a basic structure of a workout you can do at home with virtually no equipment. You can pause the video to do more and extend certain parts if you need to, you can repeat it 2 or more times to have a 40-60 min workout and use it whenever and wherever you like. My wife Alison is doing the hard work in this video and we will be doing more videos early next week as more variety to today’s edition. Also as Alison owns her own Pilates S...tudio, Simply Pilates and is a 25 year Instructor, Master Trainer and International Presenter of Pilates she will be sharing with us here some Mat Pilates classes with us too!! 04.01.2022 Kennedy’s update Our new building is progressing along but of course due to Covid restrictions has been slower than expected and to be honest I can’t see us in there before January. Now you may not have weights as heavy as you may use at gym so I have Super Setted different muscle groups to try counteract that! Enjoy. 01.01.2022 Corona Virus update Sunday March 22 7pm. Kennedys will "temporarily" close for all business on Tuesday 24th March at noon. So get in there tomorrow and or Tuesday morning for your last workout for a while-AND DONT FORGET YOUR TOWEL!! Hopefully the world will get back to normality sooner than later, but in the meantime stay well, stay healthy and try staying fit with some outdoor walks/jogs, etc. I will be posting some "home workout" ideas to keep your muscle strength and ton...e up in coming days...
