04.01.2022 When the pressure comes on thats when the governors open up that’s certainly what happened when LCR Group called on Kennedy Trailers to supply a custom built 16 row platform to move the tunnel boring components for the cross river rail project in Brisbane. Once fully prepped the biggest piece weighed in at a whopping 215 Tonne, had a base width of 7.2 meters and when coupled with the 3 push pull trucks the combination came in at almost 380 tonnes! This definitely put the Ke...nnedy platform to the test especially on such a tight inner city route. We cannot thank LCR Group enough for believing in the KT product and giving us the opportunity to prove we can do so much more with our versatile module system!
