22.01.2022 Sometimes we get carried away in life about our destination, and yet it is often less important than the journey. Embrace the opportunity to learn and grow along the way, life is for learning and letting go at times.

22.01.2022 When you admire something about another person - tell them. Get into the habit of lifting each other up <3

21.01.2022 This National NAIDOC Week we celebrate the theme: "always was, always will be", recognising that first Nations peoples have occupied and cared for this continent for 65 000 years. We celebrated with a visit to Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre to this morning to support them in their celebrations at Piyura Kitina and it was a Nayri team building exercise. We could see Mt Kunanyi in the distance and loved the sign posts along the way learning some names for native animals. Thanks to everyone at TAC for organising this. #NAIDOC2020

12.01.2022 An interesting article on why children write their letters back to front from My Alison Work! https://myalisonwork.com.au/why-children-reverse-letters/

10.01.2022 Today I reflect on some advice I once received from a learned colleague. In her words Andrea what you focus on is what you amplify. So when you see shadows- turn your face to the sun. When you feel anxious ask yourself what you are grateful for. If you feel shamed, what have you learnt or achieved from the experience- life is for living - your focus is up to you - choose hope, gratitude, and love - as the things you amplify

10.01.2022 Awesomely positive

10.01.2022 This week is National Child Protection Week and they are celebrating 30 years! The 2020 theme is PUTTING CHILDREN FIRST. NAPCAN encourages you to think about how to prioritise the safety and wellbeing of the children in your life. To grow up well children need to feel safe and loved, have a chance to play and explore, have a say in decisions that affect them, and access to essential things like food, shelter and healthcare. ... Events have changed a bit this year due to Covid-19 but you can find information on virtual events and resources here: https://www.napcan.org.au/events/category/tas/ Play Your Part #NationalChildProtectionWeek

10.01.2022 This Children's Week, it's important to empower children to "complain" and tell a trusted adult when something feels wrong. Let's arm kids and young people with skills to speak up. #nationalchildrensweek https://www.youtube.com/watch

02.01.2022 This speech is a call to action. We spend about eighty percent of our day at work, the rest is at home. If we have a bad day at work we are likely to take that negativity home with us and vice versa. - Louise Evans; Behavioral Coach, Corporate Trainer, Author of ‘5 Chairs 5 Choices’. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BZuWrdC-9Q&feature=youtu.be
