25.01.2022 Hoping everyone had a Happy Easter! It was so strange walking through the Park on what should have been thriving with families & friends around campfires enjoying the long weekend. And to have missed the excitement & joy on everyones faces as Easter Bunny paraded through the Park on the back of the Ute. We have had word from VicParks that the State of Emergency has been extended to the 11th May 2020. Please keep in touch & stay tuned to our FB posts for announcements of re-o...pening. We will be pleased to see you. For any enquires, please email us [email protected] Id also like to shout out to our amazing staff for standing by us in the midst of all this mess. 23.01.2022 WOWSERS!!! And that's a wrap! We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Kennett River managing the Kennett River Holiday Park.... We feel like we have seen it all over the past 11 years, from floods, to landslides, to bushfires and a virus pandemic. We have met some wonderful people & would like to thank the Kennett River Camping Community for having us. We would like to thank our staff throughout the 11 years & a big thanks goes to Margaret & John. We couldn't have made it through to the end without you guys & are truly greatful for everything you have done for us over what has been one of our most testing years in the Park. A massive thanks to our family & close friends for your support, whether it be cleaning, looking after kids, & just being there for us. Back when we first started as Parkies with an 18month old & a 6week old baby & thought we could handle it all on our own, it was our family & friends that got us through that first Summer! And last but not least, we thank our children, Max, Lila & Penny for putting up with having such busy parents that could never take you anywhere, ha! Well times are a changing kids! We wish Craig & Gabrielle all the best managing the Park for the Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority.

22.01.2022 We are incredibly sad to hear this news...

20.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we have had to make the decision to close the Kennett River Holiday Park due to the Coronavirus epidemic. This decision has been made in line with the most up to date government advice. We have stopped taking any new guests in the park and all guests currently in the park will have to vacate by 12.00pm tomorrow Thursday 26th of March. The office will close at 3pm Friday 27th of March and after this time we will be contactable by email only. Email...s will not be checked daily but we will do our best to return emails in a timely manner. We are not sure when we will be able to reopen for guests. With the current advice we are thinking the closure will be in place for at least a month. Fingers crossed for an ANZAC day weekend away to Kennett River! All bookings for the Easter Long Weekend will be moved to the Easter Long Weekend next year 2021 along with all payments made. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm this change. If you would like to make other arrangements please let us know. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our wonderful guests who have been so patient and understanding during this weird and difficult time. Also thanks to our staff John, Jimmy, Margaret and Lex for their support over this time. We think now is a time to lay low and hopefully let this Corona Virus run its course so we can all get on with our lives. Look after yourselves, your families and each other. Please stay tuned to Facebook for any updates Thanks Paul, Briony, Max, Lila and Penny xxx See more

10.01.2022 To our valued guests, We are currently accepting a high volume of phone calls and emails in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and thought we would update you all on the situation here in relation to upcoming bookings, cancellations and our own precautionary measures. The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees has always been, and will remain our top priority and we encourage everyone to remain calm but vigilant at this challenging time. We would like t...o assure you that all reasonable steps are being taken to mitigate against the risk of transmission of infection within Kennett River Holiday Park. This is an ever-evolving issue and subject to change without notice. We will be guided through this period with the help of The Victorian Caravan Parks Association, a management body in place to protect and promote parks in Victoria. These are policies as of today, 18th March 2020. Firstly, the definition mass gathering has been clarified and parks with up to and beyond 500 guests are not defined as holding a mass gathering, as our guests are not held in a single undivided space i.e. everyone has their own site and or Cabin. Current Bookings As we are open for business and the current advice supports normal operation, normal terms and conditions apply to all bookings. If you hold a booking for the upcoming school holidays or Easter period and would like to make any changes, we ask that you contact us in early April when more current information is available. Additional Measures While we have always maintained excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the park, we have introduced a number of additional precautionary measures to reduce the risk of infection and keep our guests safe from infection. Our processes and policies will evolve where necessary as we continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation. In the meantime, we are open for business and we encourage you to continue to support local businesses while it is safe to do so. We look forward to seeing you soon, Paul & Briony
