25.01.2022 What a great start to the holiday long weekend. I am out and about daily servicing our local northern suburbs areas, serving up more cheer. Starting around Thirroul Beach area this morning making my way towards Bulli etc. If you would like a visit, please feel free to contact me privately by way of text. My mobile is 0411 242 007.... I will respond in due course. I will do my best to get to you where possible. We only have the one van up here as my wife and daughter have the other van servicing the caravan parks of Ulladulla. We have veen servicing the parks in and around Ulladulla for the past 20+ years. That being said, I wanted to continue providing our local area with continued service, so I opted to stay here. P.S. 21.01.2022 I have to say, the kids in Woonona really appreciated a visit by Kens Cones today. One of the mothers contacted me and requested a visit. "You Ring I Bring". 21.01.2022 THE BEST ways to ensure you always get an ice cream van to STOP "" BE PREPARED "" Usually music can be heard for many blocks away. Please don't wait until the ice cream van is on your doorsteps and then search for your money, then go outside. It will be too late. It doesn't take long to approach houses and pass them, maybe 5 seconds and in many cases that's riding the brake pedal too.... My suggestion is to have patience, have your money ready and be waiting roadside when you know the van is close by. This is how it works best. Altgough a quicker way is to text message the driver, in this case my number 0411 242 007. If you think it's me, message me and I will reply and give you an ETA on your street. Remember, the longer you are holding us up by not being prepared, the longer you are holding up the kids up the road or around the next corner. Many vendors also take Eftpos, so scrambling for cash is no longer a problem and please WAVE us down. Don't SIT or STAND on the side of the road and just Look at the Driver and ASSUME he or she knows you want ice cream. Many kids (and adults) are excited to see an ice cream van approach them, but we don't know if they are allowed to have ice creams or not. I'm not suggesting you stand out on the road to get the drivers attention, but please be animated in your signalling. A halt signall with your hand works great. Showing money has worked for many years., now it's showing a Card, YES some vendors do take EFTPOS. Kens Cones does. Thankyou for understanding.

20.01.2022 Do you have a function, time to make an inquiry as bookings are heating up, just like the weather. This was a really lovely event we catered for. 10.01.2022 Who knows where we were? Just a quick break for a couple of days. We will beck before this post circulates. It's a lovely relaxing resort. Very quiet, pretty much no kids as they are back at school. Mainly very mature aged adults stay here because of the slow pace. Ok, oldies like Janelle and I. We are really unwinding and enjoying the hot spa and swimming pool.... We went to the local market yesterday, which was only a 5 minute walk from the resort. It was good to go as a patron and not as a vendor. Sampled some yummy treats too. No ice cream vendor on site, just food and coffee.
09.01.2022 I went back to school tonight. It was like re living my 4th form farewell. We were contracted to cater for the year 12 formal at B.H.S. This is the same hall which my own farewell was held. We were lucky enough to have Hush as our chosen band. I must say the young adults who attended tonight were very well mannered, very well dressed and were very happy. I wish them well on their life journey ahead. Check the elaborate hall setup.... 07.01.2022 Happy Australia Day It's going to be a very hot Day. Slip, Slop, Slap again I say. We are just in the throws of getting the van prepared and will be heading out soon starting at Thirroul Beach, then doing another day of beach runs, Bulli, Woonona, Bellambi, Towradgi and maybe driving a few streets as well at times. I think we will get smashed today. I really don't know where we will end up.... Kens Cones is LEADING the way using Technology. Everyday we go out, I post a new GPS tracking link on Kens Cones facebook page. It's simple, you can see where I am planning on heading for the day, track my whereabouts, and you can even request a visit via a text message or phone call 0411 242 007.
