If you are arriving to Queensland from overseas or from a COVID-19 hotspot you must wear a face mask while travelling from the airport until you reach your allocated room in your quarantine accommodation. 12.01.2022 Greater Brisbane will enter a 3-day lockdown from 5pm AEST Monday 29 March to 5pm AEST Thursday 1 April. Essential service stores at Kensington Village will remain open during this period. In greater Brisbane, masks must be worn at all times when outside of your home, including workplaces and public transport, but except when eating, drinking or vigorous exercise - or unless you have a medical exemption. 10.01.2022 As of yesterday 6am Thursday 15 April restrictions across Queensland have now eased due to no new unlinked community transmission cases of COVID-19 and our great testing numbers. From 6am tomorrow: Face masks are no longer mandatory except in airports and on planes. We recommend you continue to wear masks on public transport and places where social distancing isn’t possible.... 100 people can gather at your home. There are no limits on the number of people that can gather in public spaces. 200 guests are allowed at weddings and funerals, or one person per 2 square metres. No limits with ticketed and allocated seating. You can stand when eating and drinking at venues. No limits on the number of people at outdoor events with ticketed and allocated seating (excl. music festivals). 06.01.2022 Due to the recent announcements made by the Queensland government regarding the recent Covid strain in Brisbane some stores and services may be limited this weekend in the Centre (January 8th-11th). Please contact the Kensington store or service outlet directly to see if they're open or providing services over the 3 day lockdown period. Please support your businesses that have been forced to limit their trading when restrictions are lifted. The measures set forth by the Government will help to keep all of Greater Brisbane and surrounding areas safe. The more each of us play our part now, the sooner we can hope to be back as normal.
