17.01.2022 One training session to go before we start the season for all our MiniRoos, thanks to Kano (and all our junior coaches) for getting the kids ready. Due to the continued growth in our numbers and winter pitch allocations by City of Melbourne, we unfortunately need to rearrange the training times for the remainder of the season, starting this week (refer to the document attached for new training times). We understand the new times may be a challenge for some families, however, ...we believe we have a solution for all kids to continue training in an alternate session where there is a clash of activities that cannot be changed. Please contact Andrew Hollow ([email protected]) or Lisa Whiffen ([email protected]) if this applies to you, to discuss the alternate session. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to your kids for the season. REMINDER - To make sure you keep up to date with important club and team notices, please ensure you please download Team App, search for KJSC and request to join the group. 08.01.2022 MATCH AND TRAINING UPDATE Dear all We hope your kids have been enjoying getting back on the pitch over the last few weeks.... Training: Firstly, a big thanks to everyone for their cooperation with our social distancing & hygiene requirements. They appear to be working smoothly, but as always we welcome any feedback you have. We appreciate those that chose to stay away with cold and flu symptoms and encourage you to keep being diligent about this. From this week we are able to resume normal training activities including contact and match play. Times will continue to be as per the new schedule. Training will continue to be held during the school holidays to make up for any lost weeks (unless your team coach has made other arrangements with you) Playing season key dates: Football Victoria has confirmed the dates for the playing season the latest restrictions announced by the Victorian Govt do not impact these. Matches commence: 11/12 July 2020 Season concludes: 11 October 2020 Next steps: Our Kensington playing teams have now been registered with Football Victoria. The relevant team Coach or Team Manager will be in touch soon to confirm team lists, the details of the first match, allocation of uniforms and any other health and safety requirements we may need to comply with. If you don’t hear from your team manager by Friday 3 July, please let me know. As always, if you have any questions your team manager should be able to help in the first instance, otherwise please call Andrew Hollow (0402 273 730) or Lisa Whiffen (0431 954 984)
08.01.2022 T3 Australia Winter Holiday Experience W E A R E B A C K We are so excited to be holding our first holiday camps since January!... With the long-awaited commencement of the football season only weeks away we thought there's no better timing to kick it all off by offering children multiple hours of complete football immersion! With physical activity being at a minimum for many of late there is no better opportunity for children to come together again doing what they love in an inclusive, creative, safe, and fun environment. Football skills, loads of game time, and maximum activity are guaranteed and our supportive and experienced coaches are just itching to engage with the children and pass on their knowledge and skills. All camps are fully COVID compliant with strict guidelines adhered to ensure the safety and welfare of all children. If you love T3 or football you're not going to want to miss this camp. The camps are for kids aged 5 - 12 with at all levels of ability: U6/U7 - Coaches are focussed to provide this age group with hours of fun and skills development in a safe and supportive environment so parents can feel at ease leaving their young children to explore this often new but ultimately very exciting introduction to football. U8/U9 - With many of these children already having a few seasons of football under their belt, the focus is on maximum engagement with the game through furthering and enhancing their skills development, high levels of activity, and plentiful game time. U10/11/12 - Very experienced coaches take these kids to a new level of football by challenging them technically, maximising their love and enjoyment for the game, and fostering a growth mindset to encourage better decision making and personal development. We are limiting registrations therefore interested parents are asked to register promptly. If you have any questions please send us a direct message. Here are all the details: What: Kensington : 3-day camp starting 6/7/20 When : Each day runs from 9am - 12midday Cost: $120 for 9 hours of football Registrations link and more details: https://www.t3-australia.com/holidaycamps Spread the word and bring your friends!
