25.01.2022 Very proud of my amazing horse this weekend at Werribee horse trials placing 4th in the grade 2, staying on his dressage score the whole weekend. This is one am...azing horse and I cannot give him enough praise from the injuries and time off he has had to where he has proven himself today. You made the goal happen Bee and Im so grateful to have you as my horse . And of course achievements like this dont happen on their own. 24.01.2022 As we all know, things dont always go to plan in Eventing! After a little hiccup early on in the cross country, Em decided to save Coopers legs for another da...y. This then gave the young horses their chance to shine! Ems exciting young horse, Stars Align, continued his clean streak of clear cross country and showjump penalties, and finished up in 14th place in the 95C. Will piloted Denise and Ken Rutzous lovely young stallion Dulwich Feurestein around his first 105 in style, which finished off the stallions first year in Eventing on a great note. Wallaby Hill is an amazing venue, and the perfect way to finish off the season. We are incredibly lucky to have the chance to use such amazing facilities! Our horses will now all have a break over Christmas, and we are looking forward to a successful season in 2018. As always, thank you to our sponsors. 23.01.2022 Ok so I just need to start with thanks for all the texts and messages about how Cooper and I are today!!!! We are both doing well I might need a few days before... I would pass a Trot up but Cooper looks pretty good and is very happy to be home in the paddock!!!! We had a lovely time down at Melbourne international 3 day event for the week looking great in our new clothing from Castlefin !!!!! Cooper was pretty good in the dressage for Cooper. He really jumped some great fences around the course before we had our fall!!!! Slipping and not getting to his feet and jumping off his fetlocks didnt work but still trying poor Cooper. I wish I could be on page 3 of the paper promoting our sport in a much more positive way. But thats the media . Sorry to all the people I frightened at the water!!! I did my best to get up to show I was ok!!!! I was just very winded a took a few minutes get my breath back. Cooper was very keen to jump the last 2 fences and finish until a few nice people caught him. The rule changed that you cant keep going after falling off!!!!(not like the good days we saw photos of all week) Anyway thanks to Juliette Darby for groom all week and Taylah Waugh for keeping home under control!!!! 17.01.2022 Extremely happy with Tonic at Yarrambat HT this weekend. Winning from start to finish scoring a whopping 90% in dressage and jumping two amazing clear rounds. O...nly being our third comp and also our first horse trials I wasnt expecting much just with a goal to get a nice, forward dressage test and he didnt disappoint!!! 08.01.2022 After seeing so many photos and mentioned so many times, that the frame of a horse, "move over" the poles, should not be in "collected" frame nor "elevated" fra...me . You must understand the purpose of this exercise. More than 6 poles in a row do not help horse relax and using their backs. We want the horse move with their backs, and so the hindquarters creates carrying power and pushes the front part of their body. Therefore, slowed down and keep that rhythm out of the poles too, so you learn to keep that kind of suppleness, softness and the energy. IT IS NOT ABOUT GOING OVER THE POLES. 01.01.2022 You can attend a lot of clinic, but you would never learn, if your BASIC FOUNDATION are weak. Some rider dont even know what is basic training. You are very ...lucky, if the clinic instructor telling you/helping you to work with your basic needs as just ignored it. Dont complain be thankful. See more
