25.01.2022 It’s that time again! We are so excited to start playing Netball this Saturday. And as always what comes with playing on saturdays finishes with a meat raffle at the brewery. Please come down to support your teams at the courts and drop by to the brewery to have a chance to win our local meat tray from Anthony’s Meats at Kenthurst. 22.01.2022 Attention all BHSNA Clubs, players, parent and supporters. Our 2020 Season is set to commence on Saturday 2nd May. The Executive are currently working hard to ...prepare for Round 1 as currently planned. There is much concern around the current pandemic in Australia and the Executive will continue to monitor the updates as they come to hand. We will be guided by the Australian Health Protection Committee and Netball NSW’s advice. 13.01.2022 What a fantastic weekend of netball. On Friday night we had a win for our 9 Navy girls. Today we had our Kenthurst 2 team (D2) defeat Glenwood 27-15 Our Kenthurst 1 team (C3 Green) defeat Impalas 41-32. Our Kenthurst 3 team (21D) has a bye this week but we can’t wait to see them in action next week!

09.01.2022 PLAYERS/OFFICIALS/SPECTATORS - IDENTIFIED SCHOOL CLOSURES There have been a number of queries regarding complying with NSW Health Orders surrounding the recent ...spate of school closures. NNSW has provided the following information in an update today: Identified School closures Players and /or Team Officials of schools where a positive test has been identified, should follow any instruction provided by the Health Department. - If you have been identified as a close contact of the positive case, you should be self-isolating for 14 days and should be following the directions of the Health Department. You should not be in the team training environment or attend any matches. - If you are a student or an employee of a school that has been directed to close, and all staff and students to self-isolate for 14 days, you should not be in any team training environment or attend any matches during this time. - If you are a student or an employee of a school that has had a positive case identified, however you have not been identified as a close contact by the Health Department and will be continuing to attend school, you should continue to monitor for symptoms. If you show even the mildest of symptoms you should not be a part of any training environment and should not attend any match and you should get tested. Once the player is tested and returns a negative test, the recommendation is that once symptom free for 48 hours they can return to training and matches. To further clarify, we have contacted NSW Health in relation to this issue, and they have supplied the following information: - If the person directed to isolate by NSW Health is isolating at home, but removed from the rest of the household (ie not sharing bathroom facilities, eating in a separate area etc) others within the household are permitted to attend usual activities, as long as they show no symptoms or are feeling unwell. - If isolation from the household cannot be achieved, then all members of the entire household are considered close contacts, and must remain in isolation. - Any person showing any symptoms, even mild ones, must isolate immediately and get tested. - If in doubt, opt out. We hope this clarifies the situation for the coming weeks. Teams forced to withdraw from competition games in order to comply with NSW Health Orders will not be unduly penalised for doing so. Executive are currently working on a plan that will be shared with members shortly. We hope all of our members remain safe and well, and thank you all for your continued support of the protocols around our competition for 2020.

02.01.2022 Congratulations to our 21D team and our Ladies C3 team- not only did they both win the premiership today but they both remained undefeated the whole season! Go Kenthurst!

01.01.2022 TO ALL OUR MEMBERS We are strong, we are resilient, and we are adaptable! Thank goodness! With all the information we had received we were all preparing for a... relatively normal return to our competition. Unfortunately, the direction we were all heading did not appear in the NSW Health Orders dated the 30th June. BUT we are adaptable! So we have made a few changes to our format and our playing plans for 2020 that will comply with NSW Health Orders and still have us all back at the courts. Our courts will be divided into 3 separate playing spaces to ensure we do not exceed the maximum allowance for 500 people in an outdoor space. There will be 2 rows of courts left EMPTY to allow us to delineate between each playing area. We have arranged for 3 separate congregation spaces within the complex to enable our teams to meet prior to their games and then move to their playing areas. The game times for each timeslot will be slightly reduced to enable the movement of players and spectators to and from the courts with minimal contact. We know this is not how we thought 2020 would play out but there have been times when we did not think we could play at all. New protocols have been written to ensure all our members are aware of the conditions of play at the Kellyville Netball Complex. These will be available to all members once NNSW approval is given. Please make sure you are fully aware of these so we can all stay safe. We must respect the NSW Health Orders and comply with their direction. We have all done a fantastic job in these unprecedented times and we are so excited to be able to have netball back at our courts from Friday 17th July & Saturday 18th July.
