24.01.2022 We have been getting so many lovely messages of support and love, our hearts are full to the brim! But there cant be an overflow and outpouring of the love just yet, weve still got a while to go til we can open our doors again... Sadly, the recent announcements for restriction easing does not include bars like us. Only places that serve food, such as restaurants or the dining section of pubs. Theres no wind as of yet, as to when we might be able to reopen but we sure are ...hoping its soon! We miss all your faces and were kinda scared we will have forgotten how to pull your pints and shake your cocktails. Though we miss yall, we do support the ongoing careful consideration of public safety measures and accept that its just the way it is (for now).We hope you can too, but goddamn... wed sell our souls for a tap beer right now. 23.01.2022 So as y’all know, restrictions are easing as of Monday to include getting on the beers without the need to get on the foods. After a Kent St Head Honcho meeting we’ve come to the sad conclusion that it’s simply not viable for us to open at this stage; as the ‘density quotient’ AKA one-person-per-four-square-metre, means we can’t actually get enough of you into Kent to cover our overheads. Small bars are GREAT...until they’re not. We love you and we can’t wait to be back wit...h you, but looks like it’s a bit longer of a wait friends. When the square metre rule eases a bit, we will be back with fancy bells on! In the meantime, we have an exciting announcement coming soon, so please keep your eyes peeled for our posts! Xxx K

23.01.2022 Hello friends, we’re still here in hibernation and missing you all We hope to keep being here and get through this lockdown but realistically the real battle will be when we can reopen. Reopening in the ‘covid normal’ is going to be tougher than anything we’ve faced before. Now, we don’t usually put our politics this blatantly on the table but we got excited about this.... These upcoming elections will prove important for our community and we’re gonna be supporting Th...e Greens because this proposal is a bloody godsend (if it were to go through)...or at least this is our thought til someone else announces something to actually try save Melbourne hospitality. 01.01.2022 IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN. WE CAN FINALLY OPEN AGAIN. We are officially reopening from 5pm on WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 4TH!... ...That's right everyone, we've set a date and we're bloody pumped at the thought of seeing all your faces again (albeit through masks) and gettin on the beers. Our new opening hours are: Wednesday - Sunday: 5PM - 1AM (we will open up further a little ways down the road, we promise) We're taking half walk-ins, half bookings BUT please keep in mind that whilst there are limits on how many people can be in the bar, you'll want to get in quick!
