25.01.2022 Kenway Automotive is now no longer restricted to only being able to do repairs or emergency work. We can do all types of servicing work and for anyone, click and collect style for car drop off and pick up no hanging around, just drop off and pick up. If outside the workshop 5km zone, here is some info to assist you. I specialise in your make and model of car, as per the last question below. Can routine vehicle maintenance be performed by automotive garages? Routine maintenanc...e (i.e. logbook or scheduled maintenance) is permitted as a standalone service for safety purposes only, including for repairs and product recalls. Under the current guidance, automotive, machinery and equipment repair and maintenance are permitted to operate: where service providers are providing support to a permitted service or industry; or where it is required to maintain the health and safety of Victorians at home or at work (e.g. routine maintenance, vehicle repairs and critical maintenance including disinfection). Can motorists travel outside the 5km radius to access car servicing under First and Second Step restrictions? 24.01.2022 We are open and it is business as usual for us. We can offer local pick up and drop off services for those people who do not wish to venture outside. We also thoroughly wipe down high touch surfaces before and after service. Give us a call if you need your car serviced.

21.01.2022 Hope everyone is having a nice Christmas break and have a safe new year. Will be open on 2nd and 3rd I’m pretty much booked out then but I maybe able to help out if you need. Then off for a much needed holiday from 5th to the 11th. Then reopening from Monday 13th. We have free spots but it is starting to fill. Have a happy New Year.

21.01.2022 Latest project has been to make these widebody Starion wheels from the US model fit this very very nice 1985 mk2 Celica Supra look very similar to the stock 14 wheels but now 16x8 and 16x9 size wheels. Thanks Ged Blum from Xeno for your machining work .

19.01.2022 Engine swap finished on a E90 BMW had a blow head gasket, but damaged the block surface being a all alloy block and needed a machine. So a 2nd hand engine was the most economical way to repair it.

18.01.2022 This is why you should change your engine oil regularly. This engine did not have an oil change for over 40,000km. It has now resulted in the engine bearing failure and a full engine swap. Even if you do the minimum, engine oil and filter are the most important basic maintenance item you can do for your car.

Some of the work that is happening in the workshop; a very nice Mk2 Escort for rear axle/diff repairs and a Datsun 260Z engine rebuild. We have the cylinder head and rocker cover back from Aqua blasting, they look like new alloy. Just sent head and block off to get machined ready for assembly. A test paint of the sump to colour match the factory Datsun blue/green.
