22.01.2022 To those of you have served in the Australian Defence Force can I simply say, thank you for your service. And to those families who have supported you, thank you. Today, we mark Remembrance Day; a time for us as a nation to unite in a minute of silence for those who have died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.... It is during this very powerful moment that we demonstrate that we should not, and will not, ever forget them. This Remembrance Day in particular we remember that generation of Australians who lost their lives, and pay a special thank you to the some 12,000 veterans still with us today who served during this conflict. Lest We Forget.

It is crucial that those who are at higher risk or requiring additional care are supported during these times and receive the care they need. This is why the Morrison Government is bringing forward our 10-year plan on telehealth. Now, more than $2 billion has been invested to extend a range of COVID-19 health measures, including telehealth.

Our fuel security plan will secure Australia’s long-term fuel supply, keep prices low for consumers and create over 1000 new jobs. This builds on the action we have already taken to boost our fuel security by taking advantage of dramatic falls in global oil prices to purchase Australia’s first Government-owned crude stocks for domestic security.... This is part of our plan for an even stronger Australia as we recover from the Coronavirus pandemic.
