25.01.2022 Ken Brown is another volunteer who is working with us this trip. Ken is a retired ambulance/paramedic and has travelled extensively. He felt it was a great time in his life to come to Kenya. Ken has taken to pharmacy like a duck to water and also is of great assistance with stock takes. Ken loves the people here and is making plans already to return in the near future

25.01.2022 Final clinic for this trip at the women’s prison, quite different to normal as we used the new Maranatha one day church, we treated 175 including 26 toddlers

10.01.2022 We are drawing near to the end of our trip, only Ingelbor tomorrow and Women’s prison Friday. We fly out Monday am and arrive Brisbane midnightish Tuesday. We have had one very special thing happen this week at our clinic at Rongai. The parents of Samwell who underwent a surgery in November 2019 arrived at the clinic with a gift for us in appreciation. How humbling it is to accept their gift but it would be considered rude here to do otherwise. Of course none of the surgeries could be done without the wonderful support of our Australian donors. 07.01.2022 Even though we cannot travel to Kenya at this time, our locals are continuing the work through Australian sponsorship. They are running a 3 day clinic at Piave yesterday, today and tomorrow. To make a donation please go to www.kenyahealth.org

04.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Noel Doyle yesterday. It must be said that Noel and Kate have been the main stay financially supporting our operations since the inception of Kenya Health. Without mentioning all the other charity work they have supported we can attest to the many lives that have been changed and indeed saved in Kenya through the countless surgeries Kenya Health has been able to conduct as a direct result of their generosity. Noel and Kate care so deeply for the underprivileged especially in Africa and we are very thankful for the community based clinic facility that stands at Piave Kenya, which they funded. Noel was the most generous man we know, we will miss him greatly. We send our love to Kate at this saddest of times
