25.01.2022 Calling for an E-Passport service centre in Australia Kenyans living in the Oceania region (Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific) are calling on the Immigration department to open an E-Passport service centre in Canberra Australia. Please note that there are over 40,000 Kenyans living in in this region, enough to justify this essential service... It is unfair that we have to incur the high costs of travel to Nairobi for a basic service that has in the past been provided from Canberra. -Why not upgrade to E-Passpprt standards? -Why not remove the August 31 deadline? Please note, the Passport is our primary identification document. If this becomes invalid as at August 2019, then it's not just travel that will be affected, but it will hinder our ability to access many services. We really shouldn't have been Left out! 15.01.2022 There has been a lot of conversation about financial support for international students during this uncertain time. Good news. If you are experiencing any fina...ncial hardship, and have been living in Australia for longer than 12 months, you can access your Australian superannuation. UPDATE: Applications for early release of superannuation will be accepted through myGov from 20 April. You can register your interest now by logging in to your myGov account at https://my.gov.au/ and following the Intention to access coronavirus support instructions. If you don’t already have a myGov account, you can set one up by selecting 'create an account'. #StudyAustralia #InThisTogether
