23.01.2022 Another quick and fun street art inspired abstract mural this time for Superrandom. After the addition to the entrance to Superrandom I was invited back to add to their amazing new open backyard dining space to contribute another mural. With an open brief and full creative freedom, I went ahead added a splash of colour to "Out The Back". Produced in just an hour or so this one was a rad time of just freestyle and abstraction. 20.01.2022 Dreams do come true. For a very long time I've wanted to work with Melbourne Victory FC and this year that dream became a reality. An augmented reality! 12.01.2022 A mural with a bit of edge! This one was really fun. I have painted many faces in murals over the years and everyone bring their own unique set of challenges. For this strong amazonian warrior the process of concept and design was a piece of cake. The tricky part was the surface and the location. With a crumbly broken brick canvas starting above a newly installed marble bench to the execution of this piece was all about preparation and delicate foot placement. The Next Step - Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Centre approach me via bookanartist.co with the opportunity to create a signage piece with a bit of graffiti styled flare to it. Initial the work was going to be simply isolated out in the middle of gigantic grey concrete wall due to budget restraints. This wasn't good enough to me. I've been loving using all my skills to produce artworks and murals that really have that extra edge to them. 03.01.2022 Roawwwwr!!! I've been a Toronto Raptors fan for most of my life and the Raptors logo of the 90s has always stood out as one of the most bad-ass in the NBA. So as a fun personal project I decided to give it a little remix and connect it up with the street/graffiti style that he deserves. I'm hoping to add some augmented reality to it in the near future but for now, he'll just show his animated attitude in his posed form.
