22.01.2022 To the Kitchen, Catering and Cleaning Mob You all do such an amazing job in every department you attend to. I watch you work nonstop all day; you are really the Hospitals glue. The cleaners wash and mop the floor all day every day. The bathrooms sparkle and could be put on display. We have morning and afternoon tea and treats which is swell. The food here is delectable , not like hospital food at all and this is ok. I think the staff cook home made in the Kitchen down the h...all across the way. My favourite would have to be the hot and creamy porridge made with the hot milk and the salad sandwiches are the best in the land, they really hit the spot. The first thing people ask when you are in Hospital, before they say how are you? they ask how’s the food? like its normal conversation. All the Staff are never idle, they all work very hard, for this reason I hold them all in high regard. They do all the odd jobs like restocking supplies to make more cleaning, cleaning and cleaning, my how time flies. When a patient leaves, the room the spring clean begins from the bottom to the top. This includes scrubbing the bed, equipment and of course those bloody floors with a mop! Another daily important event is the replacement of the water jugs each morning, it helps the patient prevent dehydration which can cause lots of yawning. I love the fact that you will have a small chat and for all your efforts, I take off my hat. So on behalf of my family and myself, we’d like to say thank you! You seem to be a happy and really hard working special crew. See more
