21.01.2022 Yes it was a chilly morning, but the sun was shining and even the volunteers warmed up nicely, some even said they would rather run in the chilly weather than the heat. Great to see a couple of parkrun tourists from Melbourne and also some first timers enjoy the glorious morning, exercise and company. Today's pic I featured is of Nerissa who was our volunteer photographer, usually the photographer isn't seen as they are on the other side of the camera. Thanks Ashlee for submi...tting this. 20.01.2022 Double proud here. It has been announced, parkrun is recommencing in Victoria on 16th January. Not only that, but our very own pic of Kerang Regional parkrun has been selected for the announcement on the parkrun Australia page. Way to go Kerang!!
19.01.2022 Roster is up, please let us know if you can fill a spot. Due to COVID, our framework suggests we need to have at least 2 barcode scanner volunteers, so roster has been adjusted accordingly. If you wish to volunteer further in the future to these dates, please feel free to message.
19.01.2022 As a continuation of the volunteer information todays topic is Tail Walker and Marshall: Please bring your mobile phone along with you (if you have one) as you are our eyes and ears out on the course and it may be useful should an incident occur. There is a 'bum bag' containing pen and paper and some first aid items. You must remain behind the participants AT ALL TIMES allowing the parkrunners/walkers time to continue at their own pace and be the last to cross over the finish line. You are doing the important job of making sure no one is left on the course. Rosters found at the following link http://www.parkrun.com.au/kerangregional/futureroster
19.01.2022 With the recommencement of Kerang Regional parkrun on 16th January, we are needing to fill our volunteer spots. So here are our first 5 weeks, if interested please message this page or email [email protected] There are a few minor changes due to COVID regulations. 1, We need a minimum of 2 barcode scanner volunteers. 2, A volunteer to sanitise and sort the finish tokens after each event. 3, A volunteer to sanitise the volunteer vests and lanyards after each event.... A single volunteer can do multiple jobs but will only get 1 volunteer credit to their weekly total. See more

06.01.2022 Did you know how easy it is to volunteer? Course check is a really easy one which also can be done if wishing to complete the course. Event Day Course Check: Key for opening padlocks on the gates is located in the shed and will need to be collected before heading out to check the course... Ensure end gate at the northern end is locked and a check made of the course, trees, branches, fishermen and campers, if any cars are parked on the course please let the RD know ASAP as we would need to organise a marshal. Please feel free to give it a go and fill in some roster gaps http://www.parkrun.com.au/kerangregional/futureroster
