09.01.2022 On Thursday night I was lucky enough to be named the 2019 EPSON AIPP Victorian Professional Photographer of the year, with images from my I AM. portrait series. To say I am thrilled is an understatement. I was also named the 2019 AIPP Victorian Portrait Photographer of the Year and received the award for the Highest scoring print at this years awards. I want to say a huge thank-you to Epson for their on going support of our state awards and on a more personal note to Bruce W...illiams from Epson who works behind the scenes during the state awards helping to ensure they run smoothly. Massive thank-you to Kayell Australia for sponsoring the portrait category and their on going support of me and many professional and new comers to the photography industry. I have build a very strong relationship with both of these very supportive industry sponsors. Thank-you to AIPP Victoria counsil for helping to run a great awards held at Melbourne Polytechnic this year, and to Sue Lewis, Carla Mahony and all our student and AIPP member volunteers who helped to run such a smooth event this year. It was so wonderful to see so many Victorian students entering this year and so many of them receiving at least one silver.
