17.01.2022 Kergunyah’s Ultralight is finally a reality. Thanks to CFA and our brigade members and local community for supporting many years of fundraising, wood chopping, Bunnings Barbecues, community events that have donated proceeds, individual donations and company donations - Tyre Power and Visy Board. Comments are welcome so that everyone can be acknowledged! The ultralight is going to make reaching lightning strikes in our hills quicker and safer for our firefighters. Our firefighters are your local community members. Our next project to be completed is our new shed with better facilities. We are working towards that. Well done Kergunyah community and our dedicated Captain David Wallace.

11.01.2022 Simple video showing us why we need to wear masks, how to take them off, and why we need to wash our hands, and social distance. Great for our kids and grandkids to watch. Stay safe.

11.01.2022 With a great weekend coming, if you’re planning on cleaning up around your property, please don’t forget to register your burn off to stop unessential call outs for CFA Volunteers

08.01.2022 September 12 would have seen hundreds of firefighters and other emergency service personnel step up for mental health, by climbing the 28 floors of the Crown Metropol Hotel while wearing 25 kilograms of turnout gear and breathing apparatus. While the event cannot proceed in its usual manner this year, it will be hosted virtually. Kergunyah CFA member and firefighter, Dominique Clapham is taking part in the virtual challenge climbing stairs in their workshop. Hopefully... a photo to follow with her 25kgs of turnout gear. The following is from Nikki’s Facebook post Please click on the link to open This year I am taking part in the Annual Firefighter stair climb for mental health. Please donate to help fight depression, PTSI and suicide by raising funds to improve services, fund research and raise awareness. Every little bit counts, and donations over $2 are tax deductible
