22.01.2022 It is with great sadness that I need to inform you that I’ll be closing my doors as of tomorrow for 6 weeks. The Victorian Premier announced that all Hair Salons will be shutting from tomorrow night at midnight. As difficult as this is, it’s definitely the right thing in stopping the spread and I feel this hard but wise choice will help us get back to normal life sooner rather than dragging it out for months. It can be a little challenging working with a base so dark so often it takes 2 appointments to achieve the more creamy baby blonde this client was after. 17.01.2022 PLATINUM IN 1 APPOINTMENT SWIPE to see the transformation! We did a full PLATINUM CARD on my gal @mrsjessieedge which means that every single hair is finely sliced and in foils. It’s an incredible way to have control on your lift rather than the uncomfortable, uneven results of a scalp bleach. I love this technique as it also leaves a tiny bit of root so it’s not so harsh and artificial looking as a scalp bleach. We deepened her root color and did a full head of foilayage highlights, then refoiled the leftover hair to add some lowlights and cut more of the orange, giving her a 3 dimensional balayage look.
