24.01.2022 Keribee Dressage has two lovely grey geldings for sale. Here's one: KERIBEE SOCRATES 7 year old, grey gelding by San Rubin II, out of a performance bred mare. 16.2 hh... Keribee Socrates is maturing into a beautiful gentleman who turns heads. Having bred him for sale and then brought him along from breaking, it has been a joy to start taking this lovely boy out to competition. He's been to about half a dozen shows and will be heading out to qualify for the SA State Champs in Preliminary and Novice dressage next weekend. His three quality paces include a walk with good overtrack, a powerful, light and balanced trot and a big, ground-covering canter. He is highly trainable and very rideable. He is so quiet, he has been used as a schoolmaster to coach riders. He is often trained in the arena with two or more other horses, so is not horse shy. Keribee Socrates is used to a very busy stable as well as the quiet farm, and is comfortable in either environment. He is known for his extremely chilled out temperament around the stable. Nothing bothers him, not even the stallion trying to chat him up. At shows, he is happy to stand at the float and fall asleep after competing. San Rubin II, who features Sandro Hit and Rubinstein in his pedigree, is Keribee Socrates' sire. His dam is bred from the Souvenir line and is a close relative of Grand Prix horse, Keribee Galileo. With Grand Prix potential written all over his pedigree, there is every reason to expect this talented horse to take his future partner all the way to Grand Prix. This lovely gelding features a free-stepping walk with good overtrack, a suspended trot showing oodles of potential and a powerful, ground-covering canter.
