19.01.2022 Puppies growing so quickly

17.01.2022 Its with great sadness that we offer our boy Axel for sale to a great home. He needs a home where he can be part of the family and also have some canine company, preferably female. He will be desexed before leaving. Axel has had hips and elbows scored with excellent results. He has also had pet insurance since he was 8 weeks old. He has the most beautiful temperament. Unfortunately he cannot be trusted around cats, chooks or small animals. If interested please pm me.

06.01.2022 What is it like to be a dog breeder? For us, having a dog is much more than having a pet! We over analyze every little detail of their movement, physical attributes, temperament, health and more... We make really hard decisions when we have to part ways with dogs who don't make the cut for our programs. We take losses that never leave our hearts. We don't have time to go on vacation, let alone trust anyone to watch our precious animals. It's a constant letting them in, out..., watering, feeding, cleaning, vet appointments. A breeder can work tirelessly through the night and still lose a precious puppy. We spend 24/7 with our litters during the first several weeks of life. We invest not only hundreds of dollars or more per month into quality feed, routine dewormings and vaccinations but we also spend hundreds/thousands on health testing, stud fees and veterinary bills. You may say that a breeder makes a lot of money especially selling dogs in the 4-digit price ranges. Most of the time any income goes right back into your program and for the dogs, until you're well established and able to balance everything properly. Even then, breeding dogs is never for the faint of heart. You can put your entire heart and soul into your program and it's still doesn’t always work. Granted, those of us who continue to breed year after year are those who are not faint of heart. To be successful and respected, it takes a lot of effort. Most of us are still working hard to reach some of our goals within our program. Some are at the top of the game, producing amazing dogs every litter, but I promise you, they're still learning everyday. You see the puppy pictures and smiles these pups bring to families, it's beyond worth it. If you have a dog from a great breeder, praise them because it took blood, sweat and tears.
