22.01.2022 Nothing like being stretched into new and exciting things! I took the time to set up my camera for this painting and have now uploaded my video to my YouTube channel! Yayayay!! I’ve discovered it’s not so easy to paint and also be aware of the camera . My last attempt had me hitting the camera with my canvas as I lifted the painting to cause it to flow and leaving the residue of paint behind. ... I’m not that easily deterred though. I will keep at it and refine this amazing process of videoing the moments that I spend at my paint pour table creating with the Lord and I’m believing there will be an impartation of creativity that is imparted as you watch! 15.01.2022 Thunder carries the sound of lightning. It’s the powerful reverberation of a strike of intense light. As a kid, I always felt that God was going to come and strike me with lightning for being bad, for doing something wrong. I was super scared, in the wrong way. Our amazing Heavenly Father wasn’t the angry, mean God I thought him to be. Instead, I discovered a Father whose heart's desire was to love me well, without anger and condemnation. ... Perfect love casts out all fear ... we know that scripture right?? But have you had an encounter with His perfect love? Have you seen what His love looks, feels and sounds like? It was so different to what I knew and thought and I’m so thankful to have encounters with the Father's heart. His fierceness is toward my enemies, not me. He defends me and looks out for me. He covers me with His garment of praise and restores me to my place by His side. This painting, Thunder is more than a representation of what we see in the sky. It’s the sound of a new generation. A new generation that is rising, who know the Father's heart and who champion His love for the world to see. This painting represents all those who have heard His voice and have come close to His heart, leaning in to know the truth of who He is and who He will be for each of us, those who have surrendered their hearts to His love and care. "He stretched heaven’s curtain open and came to my defense. Swiftly he rode to earth as the stormy sky was lowered. He rode a chariot of thunderclouds amidst thick darkness; his steed was a cherub, soaring on outstretched wings of Spirit-Wind." 09.01.2022 Birthing Within you, there is the precious seed of the Kingdom. Within you, there is hope and joy for the nations. Within you, is the answer to questions that are yet to be asked.... Within you, is the glory of our Lord and Saviour. As we sing over our lives, no more dry ground, Heaven’s Open, What should we believe that we will see? The birthing of the new, the unseen, the very thing that sees our dreams realized, The fruitfulness of the tree of life in us. This painting is birthing. An invitation to birth what no eye has seen but all of Heaven is excitedly waiting for. What a powerful word! This word came forth in my recent Kingdom Birthing Room Challenge, as we spent a session creating with Holy Spirit. This gorgeous painting and the word that accompanies it ... was and is the expression of Father’s heart for now. Birthing the new, it’s what we are created to do. So my question for you today ... what are you birthing with the Lord? Sometimes we feel it, we know God is doing something but we haven’t got a language for it and are not always sure how to partner with God in the birthing. 02.01.2022 Crucified He hung on a cross. That day when Jesus was crucified. Blood and water, skin broken and bruised. ... Lashings upon lashings. Down to the bone. Agony and pain and nothing in between. The people called for Him to be slain. In anger and disgust they turned on Him. Not seeing, not knowing. Hidden in this moment. Is revelation to see. Jesus Christ paid the price for you and me. Death preceded resurrection life. The keys of the Kingdom returned. Taken from an enemy who thought he’d won. Little did he know, our King was still on the throne. Death bowed its knee to our resurrected King. Who overturned the grave and rose in victory. Crucified yes; resurrected YES, alive and reigning.
